Jessica has been back home now for 3 weeks she has not been home for 5 years she said Cebu has changed allot,  more like the usa lots of us restaurants and shops and ac in stores plus her diet has changed since she is back home lots of fish and rice she has lost 15 pounds which is fine with me,she is suppose to stay until Oct 15 but i lost another one of my sons last week my youngest this time 19 some of you remember my first lost my oldest 4 years ago 22 so she wants to come home now i told her no to stay it might be along time before she gets to go back did i do the right thing

You are both right,i call her when i have my bad times she is goeing to stay there  just to much invested to come home now there is not much she can do anyway besides i have 2 more sons here and they are alot of comfort along with my mother and 3 brothers and sister and lots of friends,the funeral was over 2 miles long and that say;s alot about Mitch that i can't

Hi Tom,

I'm very sorry for your loss. How terrible. My prayers are with you. For what its worth, I think you did the right thing. Since Jessica is there just call her alot to let her know whats happening and that you miss her.  Let her have her trip. Unless she insists or it all becomes too much for you, then by all means, let her come home early.

I agree with you Jay. I think Tom did the right thing.

Actually, I thought that both Tom & Jessica were being very unselfish.

After waiting for 5 years to go home, she wanted to cut her trip short and come back immediately to be with her husband when he needed her most.

Knowing how much this trip meant to her, he chose to grieve alone so that she could finish her long-awaited vacation.

Now that sounds like true love!
