Latinas attend Church Service showing their belly buttons, part of the boobs, mini skirts, dressed to kill. I really don't think women should dress like that at church. Also, don't understand why she would find the need to continue dressing sexy in public after she already found her man. I understand Latinas dressing to kill in their native country becuz thats their culture, but them dressing, showing off their bodies in America isn't the norm unless it's hot and most other women are out there showing off their bodies. I would feel ashamed attending church services with my wife half naked lol. When your women dress to kill, it only tempt other men. If the Latinas are walking around dressed to kill without their Man, whats to keep Guys from trying to talk to her. Filipinas are very beautiful, same as Latinas...but It's rare that I ever see a Pinay walking around showing off her body here in America...I live among both Latinas and Asians, and I don't frequently see any Latinas walking around showing off their bodies. Don't get me wrong, I think highly of Latinas, and I 'm sure that there are plenty of godfearing Christian Latinas that don't find the need to walk around showing off her body.

The latin view of the body, female sexuality and beauty can seem so inverted to our own. My gilrfriend will wear outright sexy clothing when she is with me and she tells me she does it so that I'll be proud to be with her. (I think she also does it so that I won't look at other women.) I have tried to explain to her the differences between how women dress in the US and in Latin countries, but she doesn't understand and won't until she gets here.  By no means is she out trolling for another guy: her body language speaks volumes about how much she loves me. I think it was Iswote who said that women dress as much for each other as they do for men and I really believe that.

I have seen Mexicanas 50 lbs. overweight wearing tight fitting miniskirts with total self-confidence. I once pointed out a woman in a children's TV show that was dressed like a cheerleader: white lace-up knee-high vinyl boots, white hot pants and a halter top. I asked her why does she dress that way if she's working with children? She couldn't answer me on that so I think I may have made a point that time.

I made a sad discovery once when talking about beauty as I was praising my girlfriend's lovely brown skin. She didn't believe me and thought that I really wanted a white skinned woman. Even in Peru the advertising (and racist elements of spanish culture) holds up the light skinned woman as the pinnacle of beauty.

Another side to this is the rampant philandering of Latinos. I think women believe they have to be sexy to attract and keep a man, so they put a lot of emphasis on the outward appearance. While feminists would scream about making women sex objects and only valuing them for their beauty, the average Latina would say it's her role and she's content with it, as long as her man is faithful.

I really don't think I can give you any satisfactory explanation, but I guarantee you she isn't trying to attract another man.

I do live in a part of the country where it is pretty hot and humid, but my wife is fairly cold blooded and often wears a jacket or sweater even in the Miami heat so that really isn't her reason.  I think wizard pretty much covered it.  She views sexuality and sensuality differently than most Americans.  She always dresses classy even if she shows her belly and cleavage. And she is somewhat apalled (though tolerant) of my constant wearing of shorts and t-shirts.  She thinks they show no taste.

I am not going to complain.  She actually thinks I am sexy (and it's been years since any other woman thought I was sexy).  She does crazy things that are sensual in the most offbeat and delightful ways.  As I have said repeatedly, things are only dirty if you decide they are dirty.  My wife is extremely devoted to me and another man is the last thing she wants.  She just likes to feel good about herself.

Oh and she only wears thongs (no pantie lines), is 33 years old and has the ass for them.

very stunning woman, you lucky man. As I said, Latinas are the most beautiful women bar none. If peaceful men can find a Latina without temper tantrums thats great. I believe a Guy can do no Wrong in his choice of either Latina or Pinay, both are goooooooood women. If a Guy wanna be able to choose from countless beautiful women with great bodies, then go for Latinas..Guys that looking for a women with beautiful face, slim body..sweetness, then the Pinay's the one.

such nonsense. There are countless Latinas to choose from that don't find the need to show off their bodies. Anyway, I would choose a non catholic christian latina. I doubt that those that really Love jesus go around showing alot of their flesh. My experience meeting both born again Latinas and Filipina Christians is that they have given up dressing bold. Bold is their word of dressing to kill(not talking about dressing in nice clothing).

I don't speak for Bruce (lswote) and I'll let him tear you a new one himself, but for someone who has never been to LA, doesn't speak the language and doesn't understand the culture, you sure speak like an expert... You're obviously speaking from your own perspective and you're trying to project your values and views onto others...

Until you have traveled to LA and understand the culture, you shouldn't make statements like this... Most of the latinas I know, including my wife, enjoy dressing in a sensual manner... Don't mistake this for promiscuity, teasing or flirting... Most latinas, including those that dress in a "sexy" manner are very conservative when it comes to relationships and what is the right / wrong thing to do... They are proud of their bodies and yes, they tend to seeth sexuality...

Just as you were raised wearing blue jeans and tennis shoes, they are raised wearing tight clothing and being sensual... It's part of the culture...

In case you haven't figured it out, it's not in good taste to attack another board member's wife... Stop while you're behind... Patrick has been known to ban people for less...

Actually I did think it was a bit questionable taste to start a new thread about the topic where it seems you are inviting people to comment on my wife.  I would have thought continuing your questions in the thread where I first mentioned how my wife dressed would have been adequate.   But I am secure in how my wife feels about me and what kind of woman she is so I figure you are just trying to get information to help you in your process of finding the right wife for you and you wanted to make sure I saw your question so you could get information, not that you were trying to insult my wife.

And I should note, while I originally responded to a thread where you commented about Latinas dressing to kill (showing off their bodies) perhaps you and I have different definitions of dressing to kill and showing off bodies.  I think dressing to kill means looking very nice and while my wife does show off her body, it isn't in an overtly sexual manner.  It is much more sensual than sexual.  And remember, women dress for other women just as much if not more than they dress for men, so there are other reasons they will dress hot than to attract another man. Finally I want to say that my wife always looks classy even when she shows skin, it is never cheap or tacky and I feel she is not dressed inappropriately when we go to church.

I don't feel discouraged with Latinas at all..I meet them at the Gyms all the time, they are real nice AWs, but the Latinas and Filipinas already in America seem to prefer sticking with their own race. Sooo older Guys have a better chance by going abroad in their search to find and be found by a Lady of another nationality. Again, thats great that Latinas want to dress to kill to please their man, just surprised that they dress like that at place of worship. The length of time you've been on PL has NO bearing whether you're being civil or not...
