OK, after I posted that question on maturity, I found out pretty quick that it appears to be a tour agency myth.  So my next question: are Filipinas as affectionate to their husbands as the agencies claim, or is this another myth as well?

Thanks,
NateD

Hi Nate,

I found out the hard way (over and over), the more passionate and affectionate the woman, the more angry and violent they become when they discompose...

Again, you must think in terms of comparison because everyone has their idea of what 'affectionate' means.

I will state that it cannot be known if a woman or man from any particular country or area of the world will be affectionate.  However, the odds will be greater or less in some countries.  Based on my experience, I will say that your odds of finding an affectionate woman will be higher in Philippines than in most any other Asian country.

The women outnumber the men 3 to 1.  That's always been one of my personal favorite myths.

I've never bought the "harsh living conditions making them mature faster" line myself.  The best way to find a mature woman is to look for the more mature ones.  I suspect that age is going to correlate fairly well with maturity.

It depends on the one you marry. Do you believe everything you read or hear. How's your luck at gambling?  Hum

Nate,
Affection is the strong point in my marriage.
the question on maturity of a Filipina, it depends
   on the woman.

It's getting cold here in North Alabama and I awake every morning with my wife's arms wrapped around me. Maybe she is seeking a close heating source or she loves me. Perhaps both.

Take care,

... in response to Built in cold weather heater, posted by Surigao Ken on Jan 12, 2003

A post to Mag-anak a couple of years ago, too good to delete:

I cant wait till everyone can sit at their computer and
hear their 85lb wife snore on the couch at 6 am (she has
been there an hour) cause you left the bedroom to come here
and she would rather be uncomfortable on the couch so she
can be in the same room with you... 85lb, female snoring is
just cuter than hell guys. (That is about as close to waxing
poetic or writing like John D as I get) Now back to the real
Al.....85lbs will still push your old, overweight, sleeping
body off the bed at 3 am though.....and she will sleep right
through it.. We have a king sized bed. I sleep on
about 6 inches of the very left side. Either she sleeps
sideways on the rest of the bed (we form a T) or she sleeps
with one (or both) legs over my waist and one arm on my head.
I just cant wait till you all get the enjoyment of sleeping
with an 85lb blanket.

I love it when Chris goes into our bedroom first--then I'd come in and wrap my cold body into his, put my cold feet in between his thighs and watch him squirm and hear him scream.
