Author Topic: Filipinos and sex?  (Read 61693 times)

Are there any differences between Filipino woman compared to other cultures in their view of sex, and how much they enjoy it? Are they generally unhibited with use of sex toys, videos, and lingerie with their husband, or are they considered quite conservative? I know this question sounds stupid, but I want to know what other readers have found. I know quite a few are Catholic, but are there any noticieable differences between girls from the Philippines and North America in their opinion on sex?

I must say that it is not the Catholic religion but the Latin culture (i.e. Spanish, French, Italian, etc.) that makes them more sexual.  It is known that Romans indulged in a very sexual oriented behavior throughout most of their culture.  Just read their mythology and gods before they became Christian!  And, the Filipino culture is an offshoot of the Spanish culture. Unlike the more distant northern Europeans, the southern Europeans are more warmer and influenced by black/Arabic blood.  They know sex!

Here take a look at this link I think it will answer part of your question.
http://filipinawives.com/manchester.html

They are other places where you can get answers to questions like this without getting flamed.

Here are a couple of boards where these types of questions are more appropiate.

Hi Kent,

Anonymous got flamed because he is the notorious troll from Mag-Anak (who knows where else?) and now Planet-Love, that goes by the other name of Mike (Misurka). If you have any doubts, check his IP Address.

Dave,and (all)

Well maybe I spoke to soon. I was just trying to help. Well anyway as long as I am posting I might as well introduce myself. Some of peaple that read Mag-anak might remember me I have posted a few times there. Usually I do not post alot because I have only spent a few weeks in the Philippines I know there are peaple on these board that can answer questions alot better than I can. Although I always willing to help so when I feel a post has been overlooked for whatever reason I usually chime in and try to help. Although since I am new to this board I had no idea the poster was only trying to cause problems.

Anyway my name is Kent Finberg from Minnesota. I am currently engaged to a wonderful filipina named Myra and we are waiting on the NSC to approve our K-1 visa. Actually I am starting to get excited seeing some of the previous post that the NSC is finally working on November because I mailed in my pettition on Nov 27 and got the first NOA on Dec 7th.

Anyone else from Minnesota? I still need a little help in finding other fil/amer couples or Filipinas here. For one I would like to get to know them and for two it would be nice once Mhay (Myra) gets here to help her get settled in to her new home.

Hi Kent,

Welcome! It is nice to meet you. I have only spent 3 weeks in the Philippines myself. I am sure that you can contribute a lot. Many of the "old timers" are now married and have little time to post. Shocked)

Please don't take my comments personal. I just thought it would have been appropriate for "Anonymous" to use his "real" name. It looked like he was just stirring the pot as usual, since he is already involved with a Filipina. Another thing I find strange,is why Mike would come here, knowing that the majority of the posters are somewhat older than their fiancees or wives, and then slam people for being "bald, fat, or old." Just like he did at Mag-Anak. He wants to get a reaction. Does he really think that we will take his advise seriously (or give a rat's arse) and break up with our ladies? Shocked) I find his contempt humorous. I am sure that I could think of many reasons why I feel he wouldn't make a good husband for an Asian woman. #1 He is too young and not mature. #2 He isn't very humble. #3 Canada is too darn cold. Shocked) But, his personal life is none of my business.

If he really pisses me off, I will be wearing my purple G-string when he walks past on that Philippine beach. Then I will grab him and give him a big kiss on the cheek. Shocked))

Kent, good luck on the K-1!

Dave

No I do not take anything personally unless it was purposely directed towards me without good reason.. Nice to meet you as well and thanks for the welcome aboard.

Looks like you two have a bit of a feud going on.

Hi Kent,

Actually the original feud was directed at several other people from Mag-Anak. Ray and I noticed  what was now going on at PL and couldn't help but give our "old, fat, bald, American" opinions. Shocked))  I should only speak for myself, at least as to the "fat, bald" part. (Shocked)

Well, just imagine if all people talked about was Visa this and Immigration that. I would be bored out of my mind. Just look back to any posts that I started and you have all kinds of responses. It sure gives this board a little life. What makes me laugh is how you guys answer my posts and don't just skip my name. Its sorta like passing a bad car wreck on the highway; something compels you to look, even though its just a wrecked car. By the way, we're no longer going to Boracay for our honeymoon, but Cebu instead so I don't have to worry about running into any forum readers there. If you catch me on the beach though, just please don't sit on me as I'll probably pop. Have you thought that maybe my fiancee loves me for who I am, and that she wants someone immature, young, below average income, and wants a little cold after years of heat? I'm pretty humble but sometimes its hard to contain myself when I think of how much better a catch I am than old, fat, bald Americans.

Good luck!

Hi Kent,

It's nice to hear you. It was nice for Mhay that if she lives there she is near in the big city like Minneapolis whereas , here we have to drive two hours going there. In fact yesterday, my husband , me and his friend went to Target Center , we watched the Timberwolves and Grizzlies games and it was really very nice place. I bet Mhay would like there since your place is a big town unlike here is so small town and i don't have any friends even same with my race.

Midnight Girl,

Stay in touch and who knows maybe in a few months and maybe we all can get together sometime. I think she will like it here too. The only thing I am a little worried about is the cold. It's perty normal for me but I know it will be little bit of a shock to her. Guess I will just have to keep her warm Smiley.

You can write to me at kentfin@netzero.net.

Kent,

Yeah , why not.  It's really very very cold here and i hate especially summer too. When i was in Switzerland i never experienced the coldness, it's only here in fact i am sick now for about three months because of the climate even there is heater but it made my nose dry and also the air here is dry , i could not hardly breathe......sometimes i told my husband i'd rather go back in the Philippines Smiley but i could not leave my husband he is the most important to me now maybe someday i could adjust the climate here.

By the way, my real name is Merlyn Luckason and i am from Cebu.

Thanks.
