Hi all and yes it's been quite a long time since
I've posted! Well I have scanned the list now and then,
but had alot of things on my plate the last few months.

To the new folks on the list here's the link to
the page with my trip report.
http://www.planet-love.com/wwwboard/russian/archives/index000175.php#72684

Ahh someone who will remain nameless said if he
could find the time would add my report to the Trip Report
Page. *-) Hint Hint

To continue on my journey thus far. For 2 months
I continued to write and call every week with my lady.
I wasn't in any hurry to file my paperwork as I still
wanted to see if we both felt the same after time away
from each other. Well I can state that we didn't feel
the same...we felt more than what it was when I visited.

In mid Sept. I sent my paperwork to Vermont Service
Center and in 13 days had my approval! I pity you guys
that are going through Nebraska. 8-( One thing to make
sure of when filling out paperwork. Remember the paperwork
wants birthdates in month/day/year format
and not the way they are on her birth certificate!
I screwed this up and didn't find out until she
received the first Embassy packet. I never gave it a thought
as I wanted everything to jive with her certificate.
She was worried big time, but in reality it wasn't much
of a problem. Used the email addy for k1 visa help
and it was fixed in three days.
Vermont cables all info to Warsaw and now she has
her Visa interview on Nov. 13th. We hope her son
and her will be here the first week of Dec.

Didn't get this posted for a few weeks, so I can continue with
htis. Sheand her son is now in Warsaw and have taken their Blood
test and got their chest x-ray. Because Monday is Victory Day
in Poland all offices are closed, so they will get their physicals
Tuesday and hopefully get the K-1 visa Wensday.

Just wanted to let everyone know what is happening. Take care all
and I'll let you know the outcome of the interview. We are excited
and at the same time worried.  *-)

Regards,
Bruce S

in your house my man, (lest others look for reasons to pick and tear apart at it).  Kheeryste, after I met you in Siberia I figured you were totally single.  Almost figured you for a player... like... hmm, you're a russian cave dweller staying in a nice hotel.   Guess things worked out with her then!  Cool.

Nobody nose u till day met u.

then no one could learn from the mistakes I made or to decide
how they wanted to go about this journey. I've found out
that if you acknowledge there are many ways to achive the
same goal and not belittle others or profess that my way is
the only way to do things, then most won't give you any grief.
In fact no one has posted anything negative about my story
just as I asked them to, which I think shows the that the
men on this BBS can be civil.  8-)

Even if they did then I wouldn't argue as this is what they
would want and I won't give them the satisfaction. 8-)

Anyways I hope my story will help someone down the road.

My approval took 134 days through Nebraska, if you can believe that!
I was told that they process 3 times the number of k-1's than any other service center.. Don't know if it's true..

Congrats..
