There was the following article in todays Washington Post "style" section regarding the visa delays.  It points out that the American man killed in the Moscow theater terrorist attack was trying to expedite his fiance visa.  It also noted that the delays for Asian women are much greater than RW, if that's any consolation.  Here is the link.  If it doesn't work to to washingtonpost.com and follow links to today's "Style" section.

The article writer kept spelling it "MALE order brides"??(some Freudian slip I guess)..the wivescomefirst site makes a compelling case.
My thoughts are..what could Sandy Hooker have hoped to gain by going to Russia to expedite the k1 visa? Our congress reps are HERE to take procedures on for their constituates on a case by case basis.
