I have been in communication with several women from Ukraine and Russia over he past year. Always, without exception I receive the "I need money" letter. My question is this. Are there any people out there that can recommend to me dating sites that represent honest, legitimate women that are actually searching for a companion and not just look to get rich quick.

I have been using "russian-liaisons.com" "a foreign affair and 1st-international.com.

I have E-mailed over 100 ladies from FA, and only a couple ever asked for money, and the agency promptly removed them.

Strange, FA refused to remove my fiancee (and later wife) for over a year and a half after I first notified them that she was engaged. She received an invitation to go to the Spring social this year (five months after we were married). I'd steer clear of them.

BTW, my mother-in-law still picks up five or six new letters from guys each month at my wife's apartment. She's still out there somewhere on the net, I'm sure.

e mail me and I'll give you the name and e mail address of two ladies
I have correspondence with but can not follow thru. No money ever mentioned. Don't e mail anyone if it goes thru an agency. The e mail address should be a direct address.

I would point you to the website firstdream.com and suggest that you check out what they have to say about placing a personal ad in the local newspapers. I got pretty good results with only a limited amount of time (between the ad and my visit) and only placing it in one paper.

You are still putting yourself out there as scammer bait but the ratio of scammers to good girls will be much less than dealing through an agency catalog IMO.
