Just a little bit of my experience in regards to gifts for your girls child. (If she has one)
I had noticed on my trips to Russia that I had never seen "Crayola Crayons" there. I had seen colored pencils, felt markers and the like, but no crayons. On my last trip, I brought one of the large boxes with 96 colors in it for Tatyana's 9 year old daughter. They were a big hit. In fact, her mother, grandparents, etc. had never seen them before.
I started thinking about this and noticed that there was another American children's staple that I had not seen, "Play Dough". I am sending some of this for Marina's birhtday.
Another, gift I brought last winter that was abig hit, was "Furby". Remember when they were the must have gift a couple of years ago? I bought it here for $12.00 dollars. I saw it in Moscow for $130.00. Again, a big hit
Sometimes it is the simplest things that are enjoyed the most.
