If the Government believes these stats are accurate, if I were them, I would not prefer that American men and other Western men come to their homeland just to remove healthy young and especially educated women from the populace.
Most likely this will never affect any one here. That could change if relations between Ukraine and USA for example run into problems. If Ukraine sells nuclear weapons to Iraq that certainly could change things greatly in short order.
