I've always been a Mech, so I'm not to familiar with all that black crow stuff. What we did was fly around and act like the Russians (attacking, jamming and shooting scooters at the boat like it was a missle) during the workup cruise for the battle groups preping to be deployed.
I think they use learjet now. A whole lot cheaper.
I think we got national attention one time when we were flying out of San Diego, where in which the Chaffe was being deployed on take-off and all those metal strips grounded out alot of electrical lines that blew alot of transformers in the city...like about 1/4 of the city.
It's amazing how that stuff fools the radar screens, but boy will that stuff make you itch if you it on ya.
