Can two registered posters post on the PL board 1) using the same computer and 2) using their individual IDs (handle, name or whatever we're calling what we each go by)?

If it's set up with separate user accounts, yes.  I don't work with any Windows platforms other than NT and Win2K.  I know on both of those, you can set up two separate user accounts and the cookies for each user will be stored in a separate directory.  I don't know if the other consumer oriented Windows versions (Win95,98,ME) allow for separate user accounts.  If they do, then two people could post from one computer using the different accounts.

My old Compaq computer had a "Home Base" that let the user go to their own computer space.  I am not familiar with other manufacturers methods of doing this.

If I understand this correctly then one guy can actually be two people. For example write how he had a wonderful experiance using an agency, and he could actually be the creative agency owner, or a person could ask a question that most people wouldn't know then come back with the exact needed information making him appear as a credible expert. Maybe I didn't understand how it works?

Since they both use the same computer, it would be confusing for both partners to post under the same handle.  By separating out the logins and respective cookies, each person could post with their own unique handles and experiences.
