from a RW who's profile a friend of mine wrote and had seen online.
This was the letter of "first" response,"already" asking for $$$
He was a little taken back by it and thought it kind of "scammy"...
What do you think of this letter from the gal Huh

Hello    ,

Thank you ever so much for your letter. After reading it I made up my mind to respond to you because it excited my interest very much. Let me tell you a few words about myself. I am 28 years old. I am blonde hair and I have green eyes. My hobbies are travelling, skiing, knitting, and cooking.
I have a five year old son. His name is Flaris! I am divorced, I would like to meet my lifetime partner, who would become my loving husband a good father for my son. I hope, we will keep on writing to each other and get to know one another better. I am sorry for keeping this letter short. I am looking forward to your letter.
P.S. I would like to ask you to pay for our correspondence, if it is not difficult for you? Thank you in advance.
Gulnaz. Bye for now.
I am waiting for your letter.

Some women are pretty poor and for them to cough up email expenses for every joe who writes her it would bankrupt them.  I wouldn't necessarily treat this as a scam.  Find out what she needs for email expenses, or contact the agency to see if you can cover the cost of correspondence.  That's what I did.  Working through the agency weeds out a lot of scammers, as opposed to sending money directly to the girl.  The scammers see you as being cautious and usually will drop within a few letters if they can't get money directly from you.  There are easier fish in the sea to catch.

If you can't make a deal with the agency, look at what she's asking for email expenses?  Are they reasonable?  If you're not sure, again, check with the agency and see what rate they are charging the ladies.  Also, check and see if it costs extra to send or receive a picture attached to the email.  Because of bandwidth costs, pictures can drive the cost of email up considerably.

Hope this helps...

If you use E700, then her correspondance is paid for.  One thing I noticed that I didn't like about E700 is that they imply that if you do not respond to many emails then the agencies will tell that to the girls and you will get fewer letters.  That's annoying right there.  It's like a shakedown for more money.  I do not want to respond to junk emails.  I could easily see where the foreign agencies could be scamming us.  You could pay money to see another form letter from the same agency over and over.

If I wanted to pay for her email then I would use E700.  Then I at least I think she's not getting paid to write me.  What woman in her right mind names her son Flavis? That kid's going to have a hard life in the USA!

By the way her name is not russian too. Her name sounds to me like she is from Asia (Uzbekistan,Tadzhikistan) or may be her parents are.

It's just a strange name.  Kids would give him a hard time for sure.  Unless of course he's too big to make fun of.  I would not think that is a common name in Russia.  I've never heard it before.
