Greetings,

Being an expert on these affairs we speak of seems to be a collective gathering of information that helps us all to be educated in many areas of this pursuit.
I have four years of writing and email meetings with many ladies and have just arrived home from Russia last week. In these four years I was asked for money once and it was 300.00 for a heart operation for not my girl of writing but rather her agency manager..lol. I almost fell of my chair in laughter as I penned a response to this woman.
Differences in Russian men and American men are eveident to a large degree to me after having done my trip. Russian men are okay to a large degree but they are still different. Russian women are very different from Americam women to me for many reasons.
It seems that the Russian woman is less concentrated on things that have been taught by some other medium such as media or other things that tend to show a way in life rather than having lived a way in life. The Russian woman seems very adjusted in her female role in life and has the answers from her own experiences. Whether or not the American woman has these abilities is subject to debate but my experience shows me that there is a distinct ability that Russian women have that there AW counterparts do not have.

I would be interesting to see how a typical AW's would turn out if they were swaped for a RW's at birth and thus each raised in the other's country with switched parents.

ie: is this just how they are raised and the product of different life experiences or is there any genetic impact that also impacts all of this?

I would guess it would have to be nurture over nature. Look at all the second generation immigrants that live here and how they act just like everyone else around them.

I think most would agree that it is a matter of upbringing and environment that will determine how one will react to a given situation.  If it were genetic then there would not be any Americanization of the RW at all when they come here to live.

I would agree but stranger things could happen. One Russian lady told me that women in their late thirties and older are more likely to hold the values that we Americans like and the younger ones more likely to become Americanized so to speak. Of course there will always be exceptions, this was just her call on it if one was to generalize.
