I think everyone should see the upcoming movie "Birthday Girl" starring Nicole Kidman.  It will be interesting to see how this film will affect this process.  It's due out in the theaters on Feb 1.

I saw the trailer for this.

I think it is set to be more sensational than feminist.

Nicole Kidman has a hidden past -- relatives who come over and extort the husband for cash. Dunno all of the subtext. All and all, a story that Claire or her followers probably could have written.

But I think that the fact Nicole Kidman is the Russian Bride, she'll be portrayed as sympathetic.

And, at least they picked someone who is ALMOST as good looking as most of the RW who come over ;-)

Bottom line though... whenever Hollywood gets involved, it's gonna be bad...

I agree, though I suspect the movie will be laced with feminist garbage.
