Info Vnukovo Airport

I will be traveling to Novokuznetsk the middle of January.  I will be arriving in Moscow via Sheremetyevo and flying to Novokuznetsk via Vnukovo Airport.  All of my other trips to Russia have been via Sheremetyevo 1 and 2.  Does anyone have any experience/advice in regards to Vnukovo Airport.  (I have searched the archives with out in luck)

I was there in October. But I can't help you much. I think it is on the opposite side of Moscow from Sheremetyevo. I think it took me a long time to get from there to the Hotel Ukraine where I spent the night. And then it was another hour or so to Sheremetyevo in the morning. You will definitely need a fairly long layover just to get between airports.

If you remember my last trip report I was very stressed out and somewhat drunk when I arrived at Vnukovo airport. It seemed to me to be similar in size and appearance as SVO 1. Sorry I can't give you more details. I was only there for a few minutes. I didn't even have to pick up my luggage because I had carried it next to me in the cabin.
