I have a 7:00am flight out of Boryspol on Tuesday the 20th of Nove. I was wondering what Hotel would be best to assure being these on time for the flight. I imagine I will want to get there 2 hours early so I will want to leave the Hotel around 4:30am. I am staying at the Dnpro Hotel but see there is a 2 star Boryspol Hotel. Any ideas? Thanks!

I would stay at the airport hotel to assure you enough time.  You may not be able to get a taxi at 4:30 and there is always something that happens.  I had the same flight time recently and chose to stay downtown Kiev.  I drove my own car and almost missed my flight because I left too late and forgot how to get to the airport.  Everything looked different at 5:00 am.  So I would opt to stay at the Borispol Airport Hotel.  Not bad but no nightlife.

Best Regards,

I have flown out of Boryspol several times but it was always in the afternoon.  I did however fly out of the Odessa airport at about 7:45 a.m. and it was deserted.  I was wondering if anybody else had any experiences with taking very early flights out of Boryspol and if they experienced the same thing.

Nobody much up at that hour I think.  I have a feeling that most Russians and Ukrainians must like to sleep in late but also stay up late into the night.

So, if there is not much traffic and the airport is deserted then maybe it would be okay to stay in the Dnipro Hotel until the morning of your flight.

I just left Kiev via Borispol on Wed, Oct 24th. My flight out was at 9:00 am. My taxi picked me up at 6:45 am. The ride from Kreschatik was about 25 minutes, absolutely no traffic. Once I got to the airport, it was virtually deserted, and I had no wait at customs, check-in or passport control. From parking lot to waiting bench at the boarding gate was 10 minutes. I sat for almost an hour and a half before boarding began.

Choose your hotel based on comfort and proximity to your interests in Kiev. The airport is somewhat isolated from the center of town anyway.

Hope that helps.
