Cold Warrior asked for a report on how my Ukrainian Husband is adapting to America, and after 7 months, I would say quite well.  Things have been challenging at times, but all in all, it is working.

He got his license to drive quickly, after taking lessons in Ukraine.  That was important for giving him some freedom, even though it scared me at first.  He is a very good driver, and is learning the area rapidly.

He gave up a very good and prestigious career in Ukraine to come here, but he has adapted well to his new chosed profession (real estate).

Doesn't mention missing much, though he had never wanted to leave.  He has found ways to entertain himself, though I am hoping he will make his own friends as time passes.  I think that is harder for guys than for women.

His english was impeccable.  People ask him often if he has ever visited Ukraine (they assume he was born here).  So that makes things much easier for him.

Guess that is all...
