I submitted my application on July 10th and I received the Notice of Approval on September 16th. I called the embassy last night on their little pay per call number and I found out that they have set the interview for my girl on December 4th. Hopefully she will have all her loose ends tied up and will be here on about the 10th. So it looks like five months is the total time it has taken to go through the Texas Service Center and the Moscow embassy bureaucracy.

Cheers

Congrats, Kevin. My fiancee's postponed interview (from the closing) is currently set at December 18th. To be honest with you, given the current situation, I would advise against making too many major plans until we see how things pan out over there. An incredible amount of conflicting information and abrupt changes have been occurring- and we're all trying to keep up with the latest developments. Not to dissuade you, or cast a negative light- just keep the improvisational mode in ram until the interview actually takes place.
Best wishes,

~Ralph
