... in response to I agree, posted by slimjimco on Oct 27, 2001to going in the winter that I found is that the extreme cold keeps some prospects that you might meet by chance, on the street or whererever, from venturing out. Otherwise, I have always had good success in the winter months. The only time I was ever cold in my room or apartment was the first trip I took, when I stayed at the Kyivska Rus, they turned off the heat in the rooms from 1AM--6AM.
What do you find depressing about taking a long walk at midnight thru a nice park in Moscow with 6" of new-fallen snow on the ground and more falling as you stroll along with a woman that could be Sharon Stone's clone clinging to you like velcro?
just my 3 or 2cts, been there, ain't nothing else like it.
