This little update on Elena and I.  After 5 days of not being able to stand or sit up, due to the side effects (big headaches) of the Hospital having done a spinal tap due their concern that she might have Meningitis-which she did not, Elena was on her feet and headache free as of Friday.  What a welcome to America.  Anyway, she is now beginning to realize that she is really here and we are both doing fine.  I will provide you all with some worthwhile info regarding our good experience with a European/American Medical Center, a great, inexpensive taxi driver and some suggestions as to hotel stays and airplane tickets within Russia...as well as THE best place to buy all your souvenires and gifts, etc.  Thanks for all the kind words.

Hi Lee.

I am so glad Elena is feeling better now. Let us know how everything is going, how she is taking to America.

We think that the Moscow embassy is holding fiancee visa interviews even though it is still closed to the public. One of the posters on this board went over yesterday and has his interview on the 30th. We are hoping he gets an opportunity to let the rest of us know about his experience there going through the new procedure.

All my best!

John
