In Moscow,  I know that this will only be for a certain period of time but I wonder just how long.  And I wonder if other Embassies will follow suit i.e. Warsaw.  A lot of unanswered questions right now and I really empathize with guys like Lee who are just stuck in a situation right now.

If it is for very long and if the 2 year limit requirement on meeting in person should expire for a couple what then.  I wonder if they would require you to travel again to her country to meet her again to satisfy this requirement or would they allow some exception because of the shutdown of visa services.

Just a few questions rattling around in my head.

Yeah, my fiancee is sitting in a hotel room in Moscow, after traveling for 500 miles, waiting for her interview on THURSDAY.   Great... After all the hoops and flames we jumped through to get this far. Couldn't they, at least, release some kind of tentative schedule???

I don't know Jim. We are all wondering the same or similar questions. lee baron is stranded there, but at least his visa was approved. From his last post, all visa processing has been indefinitely postponed. I know of other men there with their fiancees who have interviews this week, and women who have travelled hundreds of miles to Moscow not knowing what will happen. I don't think it's right that the embassy just shuts its doors with no instructions for all those waiting to be processed. But what else can we do but wait...
