If one is bringing his Fiance here to the US with her child, Im assuming the child needs a passport to be stamped at the Embassy as well, correct?

Is your lady from Colombia? If so, don't forget that if the child is a minor he also needs the infamous (and sometime hard to obtain) notorized letter of permission from his father to leave Colombia. And when you go back to Colombia to visit the grandparents or what ever, don't forget that the child needs a NEW letter for EACH trip. I hope this doesn't happen to you, but if you look in the archives you will see that some guys have had trouble getting the father to sign off.

Yes, the child will need his/her own visa. Some countries may allow the child to be listed on the parent’s passport, but it is generally better to get a separate passport for visa purposes.

The child should be listed on the same I-129F fiancée petition and it would be a good idea to include a copy of the child’s birth certificate also. When the paperwork reaches the overseas embassy, the mother and child will file separate visa applications, both will need medical exams, and depending on the child’s age, possibly police clearances. The child will be issued a K-2 visa along with the fiancée’s K-1 visa. If the child will not accompany the mother, it is still possible to get a K-2 visa up to one year after the K-1 is issued.

You are correct, you also have to file a additional form with your fiance visa. I do not remember the form number. I hope this helps........
