You have a good ex and a bad ex?

The way I look at it is if you find something good and worth having, you go for it. I was on line with my wife for about 2 months and knew that there was something that had to be either moved to the next level or discarded. I went to meet her within 4 months of first contact.

Dave H makes a good point pig.

If you forget Valentine’s Day in the Philippines, your punishment depends on the mood of your wife/girlfriend.

If she is just mad at you, your fate will likely be to have a pole shoved up your butt and be roasted alive.

But if she is REALLY, REALLY mad, then she will first take her bolo and skin you alive, and then shove the pole up your butt!  ARAY!

You were just lucky that you were out of reach this time. Don’t ever forget again!

Ray

Hey Ray,

You are right...he will NEVER be that lucky again! If it was me, I would probably ask her if it had arrived yet! Then I would do something else.

The "ladies" are going to look so cute in those little red boots!  ;) Thanks for reminding me! I have to check my calender, that date is approaching fast!

HUH? You mean if I send my wife a short text message just to say "I love you", then I am an "odd ball"? Gee, I didn't know that...   :D

Is there ANYONE else out there who ever sends a text message to their wife or loved one just to say "I Love You!" ?

Ray

Hey Ray,

You're such an "odd ball!"  ;D

I would be in danger of breaking rule #1
"never lie to me"
this is what i always tell my wife
"even if it's not what i want to hear just tell me the truth"
she also tells me the same so, no can do on the story telling
i think I'll just not bring up the V.D. thing & i think all will be good.
or maybe I'll just tell her that i didn't think they had VD in the PI & see what she says.

I've always wondered why the initials "VD" can have two such entirely different meanings... yet still somehow related...   :-\

Pigglet,

Dave isn't exactly telling you to lie--just to 'bend the truth' a bit!

Like if I'm gone all day fishing and don't catch a damn thing (skunked) I stop by the fish store on the way home and buy a nice, big fish, but I INSIST that the clerk toss the fish over the counter to me.

That way, I can truthfully tell my wife that I caught a whopper!
Whether you think you can or think you can't--you're right!

That's an honorable policy.  But not bringing it up is also a kind of lie by omission.  Best thing might be to just go hog's belly up and humbly deeply apologize for cluelessly forgetting the day.  Then make up for it with a massive St. Patrick's Day gift (if you got any Mic in your blood) or Easter basket (if she's still in the Phils in early April).
...a wife should be always a reasonable and agreeable companion, because she cannot always be young.
