Our Son has been Born

Hey guys!

We had a baby son yesterday morning.  He is happy, healthy, and well-loved already.  

My wife was incredibly good through labor and when the pushing came, she just pushed him right out in under 30 minutes.  My genes have always been pretty strong and everybody is saying he looks like me already, God help him if it is true!  He is rather light skinned considering how dark my wife is.    

Now the real 'heart' of the marriage begins.  I thought I'd put up a picture or two for you all to view:

    Our baby son has been exceptionally quiet and strong in the face of circumcision and having to have the bottom of his tongue clipped, as the frenulum was connected far up front on his tongue.  My wife is the strong silent type and in these first two days he has been too.

Hey piggleett I'm feeling energized and think I'm ready for this new fatherhood challenge even though I'm a little long in the tooth. :D

JimD, we like to think of those two little girls in the photo as 'support staff', they also are my daughters.  They are in part latina, but my strong genes counteracted much of their mom's genes!

Yeah Ray, he does have more hair than me already!  You should see the hair on his upper arms!

Hey Jimmy,  I'm 42 now and the wife is also 25 like yours.
