My trip to Medellin
« on: September 17, 2010, 10:19:23 AM »
Arrived Medellin on the 14th September, met my novia and her mother.  I am very happy to have met them.  1st time meeting my novia after 9 months of correspondence with each other over MSN, webcam.

We are staying at 61 Prado Guesthouse - cheap, beautiful - highly recommended for anyone who wishes for budget cost

1st day (15th September), we went to see Botero's landscape - fat cat, fat horse, fat .....  many photos!   Also met her beautiful family - Astrid's 2 beautiful daughters, and many others.

2nd day (16th September), we went on Metro to end of the station, shopping, meeting family again.....

We are going to Santa Marta on Monday subject to confirmation from flight ticket .... and we will stay there until Saturday the 25th, and we are also planning to go to Cartagena during the stay.

Beautiful lady you have there! Good luck. Hotel Betoma in Santa Marta is a great deal if you have a chance to check it out.

Others have already said this, so I can't be original, but I can agree with them....that is a fine looking woman in the picture with you. How old are the daughters and are they 'all right' with the idea of momma marrying you? Do you get along well with them (and vice versa)? That's going to be what makes or breaks the deal.

Oh, you didn't mention if the father is still in the picture. Are you aware that he will have to give permission for them to leave the country? Even if he's not seeing them, even if he's not supporting them. Some guys will withhold their permission out of a genuine concern of what they think is best for the children....those men can be reasoned with......others will withhold it wanting a pay off.......still others out of just plain old meanness. The latter two are best dealt with by knowing a man who knows a man......if you catch my tapered punch alignment tool.

BEST 2 WEEKS EVER ........ Medellin - Santa Marta - Medellin  (I am back home 3 hours ago :((  )

Michaelb ....... Her daughters (age 13, 6) love me very much!  They are very happy with me so are the rest of her family.

I am not worried about the father of her children at the moment.

Well then I'll be glad that things are going well for you. What kind of immigration hassles do the have in UK for bringing in a foreign wife and children?
