Actually, I had to learn game just to get my foot in the door with above average looking American women.  The fact that some of it works with Latinas is just circumstantial.

So, for a season, I studied seduction arts and the emotional progression model, as elaborated upon by such pioneers of the field like Mystery.  It might sound sleazy, but it mostly has to do with self-confidence, timing, and understanding what things attract girls and so on.  So, after I studied that stuff for a little while, I went from getting about 5 first dates a year, to 29 first dates in one year.*

Of course, these days I'm not interesting in meeting lots of women, just one really amazing one, with really good values.  But having a bit of game has helped me, not hurt me, in this endeavor as well.

*This stuff can be used for good or for evil.  You can use it to have dozens of shallow relationships and get laid alot, or just to meet lots of candidates so you can meet someone special.

After some consideration, I see what you mean by making them chase you.  Though I would say, wait for them to show some effort.  Or a lot of effort.  That's what made me decide that my wife was a keeper.  She put in effort to accommodate my needs and wishes, not just expecting me to be the milquetoast nice guy and bend to her whims.  My efforts to please her would be appreciated and reciprocated.
