Looking for mate
« on: December 09, 2009, 11:06:06 PM »
My name is Austin, and I have a friend who found an incredible wife through mail-order. I am hoping for the same. I am 36, single, never married, but I do have children ... I am 6'5", and most consider me to be a large man. I am a professional wrestler in America, and we live a very difficult lifestyle. Never had much time for Love in my life, but I have known Love. If I can find Love again I believe I will handle it differently this time around. I live in Texas, and I love it here, I would love to have someone to share my days with, as well as my nights. I'm not sure how this works, so I suppose if your interested you should reply to this post. Thank you

Welcome aboard Austin!

You don’t exactly order a wife through the mail…LOL!

Get a passport, start saving for an overseas trip, and then pick a country & culture to start your search for a mate.

It isn’t easy and it isn’t cheap. It will get expensive, take a long time with all kinds of paperwork and red tape, but it can be very rewarding if you use your head and do it right.

Have you done much traveling overseas?

Which countries or cultures interest you?

Where is your friend's wife from? Does she have any friends or relatives back home that may want to get to know you? Have you let her know that you are available and looking?

Ray

Hi Rhodes - we're happy to have you. Stick around a while and you'll learn a whole lot about the whole process.

BTW Austin, my great aunt (Grandmothers sister) was June Byers.  She was 6x Woman Wrestling Champion of the World in the 1960's.  Married to "Cyclone" Anayas for a while just after he was Men's Wrestling Champion.  Both also from Houston.  Cyclones family owns all the "Guadalajara" restaurant chain on the west side of town, "Cyclones" on Washington at Durham and my favorite, Tia Marias on Mangum.

I was 1 when that particular fight occurred.

Recently Penny was added to the Wrestlers Hall of Fame Museum and my Aunt June hasn't been yet.  Several members of the family got together and my mother went to N.Y. to argue Penny never defeated my Aunt June and my Aunt June hadn't been inducted yet.  Hadn't heard if it was successful.  My Aunt had to give up fighting when a woman from South Africa hit her in the head with a soda pop bottle when my Aunt was defeating her friend in the ring.  She came out of the stands and while my aunt was pinned momentarily she knocked her out with the bottle.  My aunt actually finished the fight and won.  From that point on my Aunt, when ever tired or stressed, saw multiples of what she was looking at.  She retired to become a realtor on the east side of Houston.  She had one son who died while, standing in water, working on the washing machine and was electrocuted. Left no heirs.  His widow now live in Albuquerque, N.M.
Once I was helping my aunt clean her carpet.  I stopped to smoke and my ex was standing near me and swung her hand and hit my cigarette, slightly burning herself.  My Aunt hit me so hard in the stomach I can still feel it.  Watched her once beat-up my step-grandfather.  Did a flip move and threw him literally right out the door.  Talk about humiliated.
Did I have an interesting youth or what!!!

Bear,

If Aunt June didn't bet on her own matches or use performance enhancing drugs, I'll do what I can to get her into the Hall of Fame too! ;)

That was quite a clip--some lovely ladies giving quite a display of physical finesse. I don't think they needed any performance enhancing anything--very impressive!

Where Dave gets these great clips is beyond me--way to go, guys!
Whether you think you can or think you can't--you're right!

As far as I know there were no drugs to use back then but hey I was in the single digits in age.  She never had a problem with anything I know of, even drinking because a small amount made her eyes blur and it became a danger to drive.  She was very health conscientious as are most in my family.  She was the most stubborn lady I ever met but fair; really a nice person from my observations.  After she retired she kept the championship belt which caused a lot of problems with the league, possibly why she was never indoctrinated into the hall of fame.  They wanted her to pass it on to the next champion but she said she was never defeated and kept it.
