Friday I am off to Shenzhen China to meet Jia! :D

I am really excited.  This is the first time we will meet in person. I posted pics of her and background info on us before on here. 

I have to get up at 4am on Friday morning and will arrive in Shenzhen at 8:30pm Saturday night China time.

Any last minute tips or advice is appreciated.  I have been to China once before (beijing) to hang out with one of my american friends living there.  He and his chinese wife are actually coming down to visit me while i am in Shenzhen.

I will take lots of pictures and tell many stories when I get back.  Its an 11 day trip.  Thats all the vacation time she could get off to see me.

Have fun! None of the girls I talk to ever seem to have vacation time so you're lucky in that way. I'm having to wait for Chinese new year, and that's only a week for the girl I'm going to meet.

Last time I was in China people either ignored me or stared at me.  The ones that I talked to that spoke english were really friendly of course.  Beggers would follow me and sometimes I would get approached by girls saying I was hot etc.  They are looking for an american boyfriend I guess.

It sounds like you have your bases covered. Are you actually flying directly into Shenzhen or do you fly to Hong Kong or Guangzhou first? Have a great time!

I am flying to Shanghai and then flying to Shenzhen.  Wish me luck.  I have to get up at 4am to leave tomorrow.  24 hours of flying is going to suck but it will be worth it when I get there!

Oh if you are flying into Shanghai be sure and check to see if your flight to Shenzhen is out of Pudong or Hongqiao as most international flights arrive/depart from Pudong and most domestic flights arrive/depart from Hongqiao. No big deal if you have to change airports though, I've done it, but it does require more time. Maybe your lucky enough to have all your flights arrive/depart from Pudong which would be nice.
