Police Protection is an oxymoron. Free citizens must protect themselves.
Police do not protect you from crime, they usually just investigate the
crime after it happens and then call someone in to clean up the mess.

Uh, what reason would DHS have to declare martial law currently?  That part sounds like a paranoid right-wing rant to me.  The US government is not going to take our guns away as long as there is the US constitution.  Stop listening to Rush so much... 

BTW, I own lots of guns....  In my state it is legal to carry a handgun if holstered in plain sight.  A background check and passing a gun safety course is required for a concealed carry permit.  I don't consider those requirements unreasonable.

Rugby players don't have to worry about getting nailed with a rock hard helmet or shoulder pad during the game. Not to mention that American football players dwarf rugby players in both size and strength - I would much rather be hit by some girlie rugby player than an American football player, there just is no comparison.

I have and found it to be very very boring. I also played football in college and like I said before, there is absolutely no comparison between the brutality of football and the comparative tameness/lameness of rugby.

As a matter of fact, National Hunt Horse racing is the most dangerous of all sports.  Motor Racing drives few hours in few GP.  Boxing happen - maybe 1 or 2 a year.  National Hunt Horse Racing (jump) - 800 rides a season - more than 10,000 fences to jump!!!    It added up!!
