I have check out some of the known sites...love me,..Cali charm, all Colombian girls,Colombian sweethearts, latin intro,Cali best...and so on. This is a very common question. The sites do not determine if the women are honest. You have to establish friendship and a relationship with any woman to build trust, respect and love. They are like any other woman.  In regards to if the women are real, the site owners need to do their diligence and talk with them to make sure they are real and not impostors.

No matter what people will post, there is no "best" place - only a best place for you. The first place you have to look is in the mirror and decide exactly what you're looking for and what cultures you are comfortable with, because it will become an integral part of the rest of your life. A great looking fun girl to party with may not be a great wife, a big city career girl may not fit in with a rural, blue collar lifestyle, and a simple farmer's daughter selling flowers may never adapt to a fast lane city environment. If you're interested in getting married, you'll need to find a life partner, one who can contribute to your life style more than just sex and housekeeping duties. Different places have different reputations as having a certain kinds of women, but everywhere has the potential to have a great match.

Like Jeff says there is no 'best' place but only a best place for you.  Jeff's quote: "A great looking fun girl to party with may not be a great wife" 

If you are not a party-type man, do not bother looking for a girl who is a party-type person no matter how hot, sexy, beautiful the lady is.

Before searching for the right woman, you need to know what you really want.  Searching for the right romantic woman is hard, but nothing is impossible.  It takes time and effort to find the right person.

Are you prepared to travel to Colombia without knowing anyone?  If so, go to agency.
Do you prefer to get to know the right person before travelling?   If so, site like colombiancupid.com is for you  (This is where I found my prometida).

If you wish to go to an agency, or looking for a dating site, do you have city in mind?  Bogota? Medellin? Cali? Barranquilla? Mars?

If you decide to go to an agency in Colombia, you need to be careful which agencies to go for because of many reasons.  Some of the agencies are not very honest; poor customer services; in to make profit for themselves.

If you decide to go to Barranquilla, then Jamie's 'Latin-Wife' is the best agency up the coast.  He is very good at customer services; organisation skills; and to make sure you are well looked after.  His services is very expensive, but if the money is no object to you, go and visit there.  Finding the right lady is the best investment. 

If you decide that Barranquilla isn't for you for some reasons, and if Cali is for you, I advised you to avoid ACG and CSM.   The staff at Cali Charm are very honest but unfortunately, they are selling the agency    The customer services at ACG is better than when I was there in February 2008.  Walter Marin now works there. He used to work in CaliCharm.  If you are unsure, try to write and see if he replies back to you.    CSM - very poor at customer services.  They do not bother reply back at all.  They always make new excuses not to.   CaliVIP - never replied me.  Calisbest - never replied!

As for Bogota and Medellin, I cannot tell you because I haven't tried any of their agencies.

I have to agree with you about your sentiments regarding Foreign women.

However, I find Colombian women beautiful but, there is something about the Dominicanas that just does it for me.They have a mix of traditional and modern culture.  I can only speak for my tastes as I perfer a woman with something to say.  I love Colombia women but, the culture is a bit too traditional.

Dominican women come in every shade and many of them share a lot of good qualities.

If you are somewhat versed in spanish, you will be fine my brother.  I am not sure if you are looking for an agency but, if you are not try www.latineuro.com  It's a blast to meet the women on your own accord and on your terms with very little pressure.

I have a few buddies that I tend to go to Dominican republic with regularlly. The women in DR are very good, so long as you are there with serious intentions.
