Miami Be-itch
« on: September 17, 2008, 09:27:18 PM »
This is what a third world invasion (legal and illegal) looks like! This mess isn't being caused by tourists. Even my upscale neighborhood is now covered with litter, shopping carts, and graffiti. Workers can't keep up with the mess!

The nice neat piles of garbage were created by the county workers, trying to clean up the mess. The guy that made these videos is now being threatened by our third world government and I have heard it goes beyond just fines or arrest...

Texas must be getting a better class of invaders because it's one of the cleanest states in the country. New Mexico, on the other hand, those people don't know what a trash barrel is.

Hey UC,

I may have to move to Texas!  ;D It must be like New Mexico here. I while back I stopped a guy from unloading trash from his pickup on the easment in front of my house, instead of driving to the dump. I guess he didn't want to polute by burning the gas it would take to drive 5 miles to the dump.  ;D

We have county and city pickup trucks that drive around and collect shopping carts from residential neighborhoods. It looks like they have pretty much given up on litter. We have a guy working in my development who drives around in a golf cart all day, mostly picking up litter.

That's disgraceful Dave. We don't have that problem here on our beaches at all. Every morning they are groomed spotless. About all you see is some kelp (seaweed) that gets washed up and the occasional piece of driftwood.
