THIS IS PAPI'S TRIP REPORT:


I just finished 5 nights in mde and 5 nights in BAQ. Trip basically a bust.
Most chicas really flaky or in it for a free meal no mas. I did not have
enough leverage this trip...insufficient chicas lined up to meet. One needs
to go with 10-20 chicas per city minimum. I fell way short of quota.
Although, I am sure some of the chicas I spent time with will contact me
again....

I was not totally on my game being out of practice. One needs to take charge
early. If the chica is not all in early...Adios! That is why one needs tons
of leverage to offset the no shows, tardiness, on the gourmet food stamp
program, etc., etc.

I wasted too much time and money on chicas with monies that would have
better allocated for the casa.

If I learned from my mistakes, it would be to have a ton more leverage and
get a better read early. If they are not super carinosa early in the game,
place in storage and let them chase you. In the meantime, Next!

Furthermore, cita management is essential. I ran into too many conflicts....

Still, beats the USA by a long shot....

In Mde I stayed in the Torre Poblado which is an apartment hotel.  In BAQ, I
was in the remodeled Versalles. Both OK but the Versalles has issue with
internet.

Leverage is so important.  I always say, leave her if it takes a lever to lift her.

Lack of leverage for Papi...well...bald, out of shape, looks much older than his age, not fluent in spanish...thus,  no game due to the afore-mentioned...and what is this about being out of practice??  hehe...either you have it or you don't...practice???

Now,  I've never met Papi,  and I have nothing against him, but for some reason he believes that these girls should give him alot of attention and affection just because he is a gringo, no matter his age or physical appearance...he needs a wake up call, fast!

Why  does Papi need somebody to post for him? FT, makes you look like his Lacky and we know you are not. Famous, jaja, well, if you call famous for Indian giving  , then yes, he is a Legend. I have perosnaly met Papi and e is not a bad guy to be honest, BUT he also is not some God's gift to women who can be as Choosy as he is, this you can trust me on. That may be why he has had no success at all with latin women. That is not a dig  against Papi, jsut the  facts. Facts are Facts you know .

I even ad chicas talking jack to me on South Beach last night. You do not need to go to SA  all the time, jsut be personable , nada mas. Wife arrives today after 13 months waiting for the frigen visa. two days in SOBE to get accostumed to a lifestyle that she will not have with me, jaja, but a good Luna de Miel nevertheless. last note. You do not need Chica Managaement unless you got TOOOOO MANY CHICAS AFTER YOU !

I hope you have a nice time in south beach the only problem is right now you will have a lot of rain at differnet times of the day it's are rainy season. I live 35 min north of south beach so if you need anything or any help just call me PapaJeff has my number. Please tell your girl to have a lot of Patience's going thru customs at the Miami airport because they suck.... Once again i wish you the best of luck and if you need anything just call.

The Bruce Willis picture is a Avatar. That is not his picture..

Papi is someone to pay attention to if you want to be successful.. Whatever he does you do the opposite.I give him credit for working on his Spanish. I have not met Papi and have nothing against him and I sincerely wish him all the success and happiness and hope he finds his love..

The reason he has not been successful after nearly a decade of going to SA in my opinion he he goes after the hottest girl and most perfect girl he can.. There is a big difference in dating the absolutely hottest women in Colombia and looking for women that are marriage material..

I think some of the biggest mistakes some guys make is they are judging a woman purely on looks , don't see if she has a big heart , is smart , is sweet.. They think with their little head and not their big head and then when they crash and burn they say that they got lied too and burned by a Latina.. They lied to themselves from the beginning..

We all have to take responsibility for our own actions and face the consequences..

I can't speak for Papi, but I seriously doubt he has ever had any real intentions of getting married. He seems to be looking for Miss Right now more than Miss Right.

He is definitely a character, and basically a good guy once you get to know him. Whether he puts it to good use or not as far as finding a wife, that's up to him, but he is definitely one of the most experienced travellers when it come to SA. No one can say they have racked up more time in country than Papi with the possible exception of PDaddy.

Wife seekers may not want to follow in his footsteps, but the guy is still a fountain of knowledge when it comes to almost every major city in Colombia, and Bundy seems to think very highly of him and credits him with being the guy who helped him find his wife.

Good points Soltero.. I remember when I joined the board in the Fall of 2004 under my former name CanadaMan , I talked to Papi a few times on the phone when he was living in Miami area.. He was a very nice guy and gave me some good information on South America..

I wish him all the best and hope he finds what he is looking for..

2.  He is not as overweight, bald, &  all that other negative stuff printed about him.  He is actually a nice & funny character!
3.  Paps knows more about SA then most people and gives a unique insight on many places.
4.  Paps is now able to post for himself so I will stand back and read his posts if he chooses to.

Thanks , I appreciate your being there if needed. I prepped my wife for the 2 hour process she will have at the Miami Airport, but since I was going to be here on business, it made sence to come fly into Miami instead of Atlanta, which are the only choises coming from Ecuador that would work for us. Long process, but we will have a few days to relax before heading back to NC on Friday night. El Papi, like I said, not a bad guy, just will never find what he is looking for because he himself does not know the answer to that question.

KB, to be fair to Papi, he has found what he was looking for more times than anybody!Like I said, I don't think Papi has ever really admitted to himself that he really doesn't WANT a WIFE, but that's his business. If he ever really wanted a wife, I am sure he would have one by now! He is pretty high maintenance, but that's not a bad thing if he finds a lady that can be what he needs her to be...we are all pretty different and what I can say about Papi is that he has always been pretty honest about what he wants. I just don't think he honestly wants a wife, but that is only my opinion, and I have already given that opinion to him. When he does, I am sure he will have one!   

Papi and I have had that talk more than once, but other than that, his experiences are always interesting and he is always willing to share them...

Just to clarify this point. Papi has been able to post here for quite some time. I do not believe he got the message until Fathertime passed it on to him recently as my previous messages to him were unanswered.

Sorry if I was too hard on Papi regarding his looks...but I have seen a picture of him , and he's pretty bald, and by his own admission he is not trim and fit, and he doesn't look young.  Now, does that mean he's a bad guy?? no, not at all...I'm sure I'd get along well with him.  But I get the impression that he seeks women way out of his league, and expects all colombianas to throw themselves at his feet, just because he's a gringo...he needs to wake up to reality...and of course with all of his experience in Colombia, he should know this by now.

Papi will never find what he wants...because he wants a hot hot 20 year old (plus or minus) women...and needs to wake up.  If they don't give him the attention he thinks he deserves, he takes it personally...  He should settle for a 35 or older woman, someone who can adore him...give him the attention he craves from the younger girls...

This forum is full of newbies (many,many are lurkers who do not post)...we need to be realistic with what we post here.  He states he wasted money on women who weren't really interested in him...after ALL of these years traveling to Colombia, he can't tell from the "get-go" if a girl is interested in him??  And then he regrets the money he spent on them, wishing instead he used that money to go to a whore-house (casa) instead??

Yes, Papi is a character, and I'm sure a good guy to hang out with at the craps table, and yes has alot of experience in travels, but he hasn't looked in the mirror lately.  He'll run into the same problems in Russia...

I can't long held opinions on users here, because I am rather new. But I am not new to the central topic of this board. And when an area interests me ... I dive in deeper than most.

I spent a great deal of time in the DR over the last 18 months. During that same time, I dated and became familiar with Russian, Ukrainian, and Romanian women and immigrants in the US (first generations stick together). Last month was my first trip to Colombia.  I will go back in two weeks for a month.  I plan on spending 9 - 12 weeks in Colombia between now and Christmas.

The "Out of Your League" question was raised in the background of this thread.  The "Out of Your League"  and "Age Gaps" questions are always the biggest for newbies, and for good reasons - the rules are different from the American scene.

I found that women in Colombia (and certainly the DR) are more League and Age Gap forgiving than Eastern European woman for sure.  On my first trip to Colombia, I did not feel any limits.  I do feel limitations in other areas that I mentioned above.  This goes to say that Colombianas may look more on the inside than the outside.  I will verify this next month and continue to post.

 The true test of that will only happen when she lives in this country. Even latino friends who have returned to their countries to bring back wives have a surprise sometimes as to how women change. You really can't know what a woman really wants to what she will "accept" until she's in the U.S.

 I had read an interesting article once pertaining to FW and relationships. The guy wrote they were great in their country because back there you had lots of social proof as an American. His analogy was to use a car. Back in her country a guy who owns a Honda or any decent car has elevated status. She then comes here and sees most people are driving similar cars. Not only that , as you go down the highway she begins to note many others are driving way better and newer cars. Her world has expanded and she may realize her youth an beauty can now get her more than she ever dreamed. In other words the luxury cars that show "Social status" in her present environment are now available to her.

 Young women love to see how far the power of her beauty can take her once she is in the right circle.

   Now I'm not saying this will happen to you. There are exceptions to every rule. But to think the women don't care about looks and age is not realistic. They are just not yet financially in a place where they can be picky about that. If latinas as a culture were not too fussy about looks or age there would be plenty here to date here and no need to go to their country.Just hang around the airports or the "Borders" for a slew of new latinas coming in everyday.But once here they don't have to play games with anyone who isn't their ideal.

   You are a decent looking guy so you will have a lot more luck and true acceptance than many other guys. This is why I advocate keeping fit and good grooming. Women do care about looks more than we want them too. They are just more accepting and willing to settle. But who wants a woman who settled?. We all want a woman who gets sexually hot for us too. Not just one who does her duty as a wife.

    Like PDaddy said. A lot of the hotter women are leaving agencies because they are not impressed with the quality of gringos there. The age and looks are not impressing them. They care!

Women don't normally settle for a relationship/ marriage based primarily on physical attraction.  They seek primarily someone who will provide them security: financial, emotional and social.

If a woman can find a guy to provide this security, and finds him extremely attractive as well, and can make this guy commit to a relationship, well, obviously most women dream about that.  But to find a guy like that, especially in Colombia, is difficult.  So, if they can't find a guy to provide security and hot sex at the same time, they will then find two guys to provide one of each, (and make sure they don't ever meet  ).

And if the woman moves to US and discovers that she can find guys to provide even more security than her current bf/ husband, she will upgrade without too much hesitation.  What BB said in the car comparison is very true.

  You've been to DR a lot. So you'll understand this analogy too. In many resort areas in Dr there are very young guys who date and are looking to marry women who can literally be their grandmother. You and I and many members on this board would rather die than have sex with some of these old women. But the Dominican guys do it. Not because they like old wrinkled saggy women. But they LOVE and need money. So they can't afford to be picky. Now look at rich Dominicans. Rarely will they marry old or ugly unless the partner is very rich. They are very class conscious.

     When I see a beautiful young woman who does not care about looks or age BUT she's still single you KNOW she's putting value on MONEY! Simply because I'm sure she gets hit on everyday by ugly and old men. So why hasn't she found someone from all those candidates? Those who say men are too shy to talk to beautiful women are in denial. Ugly men and old men are very bold. They usually have nothing to lose. Especially latinos. So why is she still single? Because she is pick in her own way..
  Now a guy considered average in the U.S. may meet her criteria there because he appears "above average" compared to her other suitors. But when she gets here and sees he is no different than the "average" guys who used to hit on her back home. She may decide she wants "Above average" because now she can do it.

 We look up to women as though they are angels. But realistically they are humans just like us and human nature usually dictates a man and woman want the best partner they can get.  Noone wants to look over at their partner and think they got a bad deal!
