Gregas,

Are you for real? Sometimes I think you are just trying to stir things up with your religious comments. I'm not attacking you, but why did you come to the Latin forum in the first place? Are you board with the Asian forum? Or are you sincerely interested in Latinas?

If everyone would just ignore Gregas, not respond at all to him and his irritating preaching, then it wouldn't been fun for him to post anymore and maybe he'd go away.

I'd thought my fluency in Spanish, extensive experience traveling in Latin America both for business and pleasure, experience starting, runnning, and trading with businesses in Latin America, my experience bringing a foreign wife to America who spoke no English, and who sucessfully adjusted to the very different culture and lifestyle here, had some relavency to this board. However, now I realize the error in my thinking, that it only detracts from the real theme of this board: getting laid in Cali.

Of course all you said is relevant.Tells us more.
But then so is getting laid in Cali, particularly if the point was not to describe sex but a certain type of girl
that mosts guys are not finding, one who is not looking for a serious or commited relationship.
And getting laid is very relevent, even to those who think they need to get married first, its probably the number one motivation we seek an attractive woman.I mean what do we want an attractive woman for just to look at?If that was sufficient I would still be married. She does LOOK good.

Hi Pete:
Sure getting laid in Cali is relavent. I have no problems  with that. I just meant that I have nothing to contribute along those lines. Never been to Cali and have no plans to cheat on my wife.

Well, I post occasionally on both the Latin & Russian boards.  I could counter
with "Why lock yourself into just the Latinas if you haven't yet found what/
who you seek in Latin America?".I don't feel it necessary to commit to either
place. I've been married to a Russian, engaged to another, travelled there a
bunch, and have a bit of insight into those ladies. I've also been to Santiago,
Cali, Barranquilla, Lima, Caracas, Panama City, etc. any number of times. I
rent an apartment in BAQ and have friends in some of the other cities. And I
love Orientals. The world of women is an awful lot bigger place than
Columbia and these boards.
respectfull, Anzo

Hi Jim,

I’m not sure exactly what you are trying to say, but I have posted on all the forums here over the past 6 years and I have never felt the need to justify my motives to any other reader.

As far as I’m concerned, you are welcome to visit the Asian forum anytime and share your ideas and opinions or just ‘shoot your mouth off’. We on the Asian board aren’t afraid to hear differing viewpoints.

Peace,

Ray

Hi Ray

If you read my response to the apostle gregas you will understand my post. I often post by asking for viewpoints. We often get psycos on this board and they just won´t go away. Any reasonable adult is always welcome and will not be molested for his  views, but he may often be challenged for his sincerity and knowledge just as anyone would in a panel discussion. As a result there are those here that will verbaly assault you if you ask ridiculeous questions make outrageous generalizations or basicaly act like an ahole. Is it any different on the other boards or are we graced with more weirdo´s.

I always appreciate your comments.  However, it is not true that any reasonable adult is always welcome and will not be molested for his views.  If you did recently review the threads in both the Latin and Asian boards, you will know that when I posted about news articles appearing in the Miami Herald about Cuba, a subject of continuing interest in the Latin forum, I was soundly and personally attacked, told I was a fool, an idiot and many other things that usually only small children say to others when angry.

You will also know from my reputation, that I never respond to people at this level.

You sir are a liar!

You didn’t just post news articles about Cuba, you idiot. You started another thread spouting your incessant leftist dribble, accusing the president of lying. When I corrected you and pointed out that you were basing your stupid accusations on your inability to find the correct reference study, you played the part of the typical coward, not willing to admit your mistake for the record.

Then you went over to the Asian forum with the intent of starting another flame war. Well, guess what you little troll? When you post inflammatory political LIES on any forum, don’t be surprised when you get a negative response. And please stop your sniveling little cry-baby routine trying to get sympathy, because you got EXACTLY what you were dishing out.

If you aren’t man enough to admit that you were wrong and apologize for your baseless accusations, then why don’t you just do us all a favor and shut up! Your political rhetoric doesn’t belong on this forum and I reserve the right to throw it right back in your face every time you insist on spouting your nonsense.

Your turn bozo…:-)

the merits of which article about Bush was correct, although I believe they both more or less said the same thing.  I think Bush is out trolling for votes and trying to keep his base inflamed and is using Castro to do it.  Well Hamlet certainly got to you and got you imflamed.  Your reaction is what is interesting and I can understand why Hamlet would not respond. Why do you react with such venom and anger and childish name calling?  This is just my opinion but it does nothing to further your cause as you seem really "out there and extremely volatile" when you do not agree with what someone posts. Your volitility hurts your credibility in my eyes.

I do not know too much about you Ray but I do believe you are an older person - I would not go so far as to call you a gentleman because I have never seen that side of you when you disagree with someone.

I do not spend too much time on PL anymore but I recall all of the nasty names I have seen you title your post with - like faggot and queer and so forth when responding to other posters.

Here is another article on this Castro/Bush subject.

http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2004/07/27/world/main632065.shtml

If you can behave like an adult and exercise self-control we can have a civil discourse on the subject and behave like gentlemen.

If you want to call me names like:  liar, idiot, troll, coward, cry-baby, bozo and last but not least, your favorite - faggot, then I have better things to do to occupy my time.

Take care Ray.

[This message has been edited by Ray]

Hi Edge,

First, I am not here to “further my cause”. I could care less what you or Hamlet or anyone else thinks about Bush or Castro or any other political subjects. I was not disagreeing with Hamlets political views, but with his careless accusations that Bush lied. In fact, it is Hamlet who has no respect for the truth IMHO.

He obviously has a political agenda to promote on this forum and he likes to post inflammatory political rhetoric to see how much trouble he can stir up. You can call that kind of behavior whatever you like, but he is a troll plain and simple. My contention is that he can post that crap if he wants to but I have every right to respond.

If you missed it, Hamlet posted a message on 7/17 titled “More Bush lies about Cuba”. In part, he said “I assume this is the report referred to by Bush. But there is no such mention of Cuba. Bush will tell any lie to justify his morally and politically bankrupt positon against Cuba.” So because he found the wrong report, he jumps at the opportunity to call Bush a liar.

Hamlet didn’t say anything intelligent about Cuba, but only bashed the president for lying. In fact, he “assumed” incorrectly that he had found the report cited by Bush and I replied to his post with a link to the report that had exact quotes used by Bush. I suggested to Hamlet that he get his facts straight before calling someone a liar and gave my opinion that he only makes himself look foolish by assuming his facts before he accuses. Hamlet will tell you that was a “vicious personal attack” (LOL). Baloney!

Even when presented with the fact that he had assumed wrong and falsely accused Bush of lying, he didn’t have the guts to admit he was wrong. That’s where he completely lost all credibility with me.

Hamlet can call others liar, small children, etc, but he can’t take it himself. What does that tell you about his character. Yes, it bugs me when Hamlet starts a flame war and then whines about it when he gets a negative reply. What does he expect???

As far as some of the other flame wars that have gone on in the past, I think you should have commented at the time and it serves no purpose to drag that stuff up now. Whatever I may have said to someone else in the past, it was well deserved in my opinion. When attacked by someone else, I tend to respond in kind. If you choose to ignore others’ insults and lies, that’s fine with me, but it’s not my style. We just handle trolls a little differently I guess :-)

we are all here for a common purpose that many times gets lost.  I know you have provided helpful information to others many times over.

Thank you for your detailed and civil reply.

Take care Ray.
