Pete was kind enough to let Margareth of LE to make a post below defending one of her agency girls whose character was very much belied by some of the lower species of this board.
She went on to say that she is starting a forum for the women, so that they can express their views and feelings.  I for one am going to be very interested in some of their views about the gringos that go to Cali...........maybe THEY can name some names and post some pictures and give some interesting opinions on some of the guys on this board........of course, after some of you read their comments, I'm sure I won't be the only cry baby on this board.  Maybe soon the shoe will be on the other foot and we'll see how some of you react.
Of course, I'll be happy to read the good reviews of some of the gringos, and the success stories..............

I talked to Margareth about this yesterday.She wants the forum to be in english so the guys can understand the womens opinions.So girls who can't write in english will have their posts translated by Margareth's staff.
She wants the girls to be able to express thier opinions and experiences and for the guys to see the girls point of view.
Margareth says she wants everybody to be treated with respect.Too many off the guys seem to think its just a candy store and do not respect the women.

I don't know how honest the girls can really be on an agency forum. If they are too honest, men will think the girls at Margareth's agency are too picky and go to other agencies, so I cannot see real feedback there.
  There are a few forums for Russian women that already in the U.S. and married to AM ,that seem to have a very realistic view on what the women think. Those forums are strictly in Russian and the women translating  ( to American forums) have said there are more women who are not in love with their husbands wanting to know how to get out of the marriage before 2 years,than there are happy ones. They are adviced by the other Russian women to stick it out and pretend till they get a green card.
    It is the opposite of the men's forum where all of the guys swear they have a great marriage.
   Since the Russian post are annonymous, and the ladies have access to their own computers now that they live in the U.S. there is much more honesty.  But if the post are translated,and everyone knows who wrote what, most women will be afraid be too honest.

It might be difficult for the ladies to really talk but it gives the opportunity for some feedback.And if the honesty was a little brutal I don't think guys would think it was just at LE but was a more general attitude.
Its hard to guage things from a forum of Russian women,they seemed to be almost universaly considered bad news and bad bets.I think latinas are much better but some of the same issues could come up but not as often I don't think.
My ex wife belonged to the womens group I mentioned below.I think most were happy with their husbands or would not admit otherwise.My wife was a bit of an acception I think.Her posts alternated between being thankfull for having me to things that indicated she did not love me,which was sort of the true situation.When she found out Sylvia was giving me feedback she dropped the list.
Big mouth me should have really kept my mouth shut.She heard me talking to a friend and understood enough of it to know I was getting imformation.
But the group did really help her with her transition to the US.

Do you really believe that most foreign brides are not really in love with their husbands?? Or even worst not sexually attracted to them.

Do you believe that it is possible for  the average foreign bride to have sex everyday and a loving intimate relationship with a guy for two years to get a green card?

How else could she fool him?

    Women can pretend a lot of things. That's why there are prostitutes. I watched a pathetic program on HBO about the "Chicken Ranch"? I think it was called anyway, to watch it, it seems no matter how pathetic, old or unattractive the client may be,these "hookers" always have orgasms and they tell the guys all sorts of lies. Sure, they probably go home and scrub, but they will never admit it.
    I've also known a few dancers who brown nose certain big tippers. You would swear these guys were God when they walked in. The girls are sweet as pie to these big tippers.Sit on their lap, laugh at their jokes, ect. But second the guys leave, it is a different story. They would insult and bad mouth. I used to feel sorry for those guys, but then I realized though they may be smart in business, they had no clue about women and what they would do for the almighty dollar.
    How did I get insight on that? I dated a few dancers and it was an eye opener to women and what they will do for money.
  Men can pretend also. I know a foreign guy who married an ugly out of shape old gringa. He is very good looking and much younger. I wonder how long it will take after the green card comes for him to file for divorce. But then again, her mother is very rich and reeeeeaaaally old. So he may stick around and "pretend" at least till the mother dies and he can get part of the inheritance.

I was married to a stripper for years. I personally give guys that frequent strip clubs a little more credit than you do. Most know they are buying a 10 minute fantasy and nothing more. You act like it is some kind of a revelation that strippers aren't really in love with their customers. Hey, just because they fooled you doesn't mean the rest of the guys in the bar are as gullable. And I don't know about you but I don't believe any women could fool me in bed for two weeks let alone two years.

The intimate relationship was great before I ever gave her a dime.

But your low opinion of women does give me some insight into your personal situation and view of the world. Probably all started when you were a child and  your mom had to tie a pork chop bone to your neck to get the dog to play with you. HeHeHe!!

Anyway I'm glad my personal life and experiances haven't led me to understand how a women's affection can be bought with money. I really feel sorry for you and mar33.

   Now that was funny. I hope Calipro was just kidding and does'nt really believe what he wrote.
   Heck, it happens here in the U.S. everyday. Hot woman will marry dorky millionaire and pretend. have kids, have boy-toy on the side. Divorce and get half, plus child support.
   Getting a green card is like winning the lottery for some foreigners.same as getting a rich guy is to young AW here. Sure, some of the girls are in love with their rich husbands. But I would hate to see how many divorces occur when Mr. Moneybags goes broke.
   Also, once many of these girls get to the U.S. the man she married is not the "important man" he was considered in her country. Just the average Joe. He may not be the "rich " man she imagined. Many are disillusioned.
    A man who understands women can be great actresses when they have something to gain. And weeds out the bad no matter how hot will have a good chance at success.

I agree with you on the guys with the candy store mentality. I remember one gringo I met in Cali that had horrendous personal hygiene, he actually thought that the girls should fall all over him. When he found no takers, he began to bad mouth the agency. At no time did he mention, that he smelled like three day old fish s**t. But the agency was at fault and he should have been able to have his way with any of the women. Talk about no respect! On that note, I will say that I did not mean to or intend to disrespect any woman and if I did I have no qualms about offering an apology. I still stick by what constitutes a flag to me, but the fact that anyone could misconstrue my words as disrespectful overshadows that.  Let's get the forum working.

Sylvia Green/Oliver who used to post here 3 years ago or so had a womans forum in spanish.It helped my ex with her transition and she met a friend she has untill this day.
I don't know how she controlled it but I think no guys were allowed.It might be a fun place to be a troll but it would limit the girls if they knew guys were reading.

I don't think it exists anymore.Sylvia had a stroke and returned to Argentina because she could get her medical care paid for there.
There were some other ladies who sometimes post involved.Georgina maybe?Someone on latin womens list might know.

I would welcome Margareth as a Mod over at CaliGringo.com

We already have an area "Gringo Malo" just for that purpose - I'd be happy to rearrange the forum format to accomodate better our Spanish speaking guests.  Indeed we also already have an area to assist with translations both ways.

Rules are simple, there really are none except that it's kept non-commercial.  

I wonder how we'll get all those latinas behind pc's, but my offer is extended - the whole idea fits perfect with the original concept.

Have Margareth signup over at CaliGringo if she's really interested, we can PM over there about any format suggestions she may have.  Of course, I'll need to create a poll for current member approval - but I bet they'd be on board with this.
