Hi Patrick,

Again, with all due respect, why are you choosing to delete some threads and not others?  I am referring to the one regarding Aaron being banned from the board.  I can see why you would go in and selectively remove some but the one thread requesting your assistance might have been useful letting it remain.

I don't expect you have to explain all your reasons publically on the board (nor to me individually) but as this has been an ongoing issue I think it would have been an appropriate thread for the board members to read.  I might be more sensitive in this area than others but I feel that unless a specific post or thread is out of line it should stand.

Your posting requirements says that the offending thread will be removed at the point of offense.  In one instance the entire thread gets zapped yet on the other hand you allow tacky posts (yet done in jest) like which Colombiana gives better head, or identities revealed, and flames to remain.

Your comments please?

No matter what I do, or do not do here on this message board which I run at a net loss, someone will complain.  I try to give everybody a voice and try to keep many points of view on the board.  If anything, I tend to err on the side of letting someone stay too long.  To tell you the truth, I'm actually closer aligned with Aaron's approach and point of view than the majority of men on the board, who I feel are obsessed with sex.  He simply became more of a detrement than asset to the flow of the dialog here and had to go.

Send me an e-mail.  I won't read it, because I haven't read any e-mail here in months.  All I do is occasionally log into the server and delete all the mail without downloading it.  All communication with me must be through the message board.

I hope some day you marry and have a child of your own to understand how little a message board like this matters in the grand scheme of things.  I will most likely continue to spend time with my family in the evenings rather than make any attempt to run a website such as this, which even if I were runing as a business operation would only generate around 1/10 of the per hour income that my real job as an engineer does.  I certainly don't consider that, or any amount right now worth giving up the time I'm spending with my 4 month old daughter.

Patrick,
Thanks for your efforts in running the board.I'm sorry its not profitable right now.So you are doing this as a service to us and out of personal interest it seems. I agree you have given  guys alot of slack before banning them. They almost have to ask for it as you said.
Thanks for the effort in keeping this board going. Its important to me and I really appreciate it.I'm sure most everyone here would say the same.
Enjoy your daughter and wife and spend as little time as possible keeping this going.
Any way to turn this effort in to a profit?

Pete

Congratulations on the arrival of your daughter! As I recall there was some talk about adopting a child. No matter the method of  fatherhood, you're right a message board doesn't amount to a hill of beans in this big world. Congratulations to your and your wife.
