Hello Fellas this is day 10 or 11 I think. I burned several days on a girl I met the first day who I REALLY liked but she gave me some red flags. I haven´t called her recently. Even though she gave me some red flags part of me still says she´s a sincere person. Its tough to cut someone loose that you really like.I wonder if I´m doing the right thing . She does have some good qualities. Anyway I have signed up at 2 agencies. The 1st one I have been a member for about 5 days the other only about 2 days.

I´m having a TERRIBLE time with no shows. I have picked about 35 -40 women out of books and have seen maybe 5 or 6 in 5 days.Either they´ve been sick, working very late, not answering their phone or not returning messages. Out of the 5 or 6 there were 2 I really liked .  I went to the zoo with one. She is about 20 yrs old and attractive . I thought we had some chemistry but she has been very difficult to reach. Evidently in school from morning to night. The 2nd one I met with and she was a little standoffish . So I had the secretary call her to feel her out. And she said point blank she wasn´t interested. Oh well at least she didn´t agree to go out with me and waste my time.

One highlight of my trip so far is that I got to meet Cali Vet. He is going marry a lovely Colombiana . He is an avid outdoorsman in very good shape and looks much younger than his age.

I also got to meet elcolombiano. Very pleasant guy. Nice to be around. I seen him again today in Chipi Chapi and I would have to say from observation that things are going quite well for him . He was with this curvaceous young beauty and looked pretty happy.

I think by "no shows" you mean that you selected 30-40 girls for appointment but the appointmet cant be set because many are not at home, not answering phone or otherwise not available. This is not a "no show". This phenomenon is quite usual for Colombian life style. Everybody goes through this no matter how young or old, handsome or ugly he is.

"No show" is when you actually set up an appointent (time and place) but the girl does not turn up (within reasonable waiting time [an hour for Colombia]). If this happens a lot with the agency you are dealing, I suggest you move on to another agency.

Nico,

Hang in there. If it was easy, everyone would be doing it. It's good that you seem to have a fairly decent amount of time for your pursuit. It's actually good that the one indicated her lack of interest in that you can move on quickly. Just curious, what agencies are you using? A good agency owner would not tolerate the no shows.

Nick,
Just a suggestion, you might want to work your way up from the 20 year olds untill you start finding women who are interested in you.Maybe a 26-29 year old who's pictures are not flashy but who mught look surprisingly good in person.
Calipro is Frank I believe.Margareth put him on to some good looking girls including his novia.I think she is mid 30's but suppposed to be fine looking.Margareth might be able to point you in the right direction. It might work better than just picking out the best looking ones from the books. If you keep going for the young hot ones there might be lots of disapointments.
The hottest girl is the one that is hot for you!
Good luck.I saw you were looking for a good price on a room,I hope that means you have alot of time left.

Pete

Hi Pete,
You must be referring to me, CaliBound.

Let me tell, you things are going great with Clara and I. This is one fantastic lady. I am going to Cali after the New Year to put a ring on her finger.

I will 4-ever be grateful to Margareth of Latin Encounters for introducing me to this beautiful and sexy lady.  Clara is 37, but looks 27. I am 47.

I am glad I did not go after Las Sardinitas (young chics).  Recently, an associate of mine (he's 42) got married to a 20 year old  and has not been able to sleep ever since. The stress is killing him. His wife is never home when he calls.

I don't have such problems.  Actually, after meeting Clara, I have been sleeping a lot better -- like a baby (ha-ha).

For those who are new to this board, I posted a trip report (5 parts) during the month of August.

Kind regards,

Frank

But, Calipro is Wayne. I did meet my wife at Latin Encounters. But, I really didn't get involved with Margareth
at all. I did have a falling out with my wife just after we met. See saw me out with another women after we had dated and when I asked her out again she turned me down cold. Shirly helped me order some flowers and think of something nice to say on the card. It helped to turn things around and we're married now.

Well to make a long story short, I haven't taken her to the embassy yet so she doesn't have a visa so she can't come to the United States yet. I originaly wanted to get married in December but she kept bugging me to get married so we married in August. The reason for waiting is that I am very busy right now and I have very little free time plus my wife didn't speak a word of english so it gave her a few months to study it. If every thing goes as planned we'll be going to the embassy on the 23rd of Dec. and she will have her second interview from two weeks to two months after that. I expect she will be here no later than March.

You may have a point however I think the main problem  is that I´m just not seeing many girls period, 20 yr olds or otherwise. Yes I am planning to stay a longer. It would be disheartening to leave this place on a down note. There fore I´m going to give it more time weather the storm.

Give this guy Walter Mora a call. If you don't know anything about him he apparently accompanies you to places like Chipichape and approaches women for you and supposedly has a high success rate. Here's his info:

Because Calipro is still in the states. I'll be arriving in Cali on the 19th and taking my wife to Bogota on the 20th of Dec. I was originally planing to return to Cali on the 23rd but my wife now tells me that she would like to spend the entire time with me in Bogota rather than spend Christmas with her family in the farm outside of Cali. Is this a red flag or what? She told me that she wants to meet me in Bogota so I don't even have to come to Cali at all. All of a sudden she has become very concerned about my safety in Cali. Is there something going on in Cali right now or is my wife afraid I'll run into her boyfriend at the mall. I can't figure it out yet.

A lot of Colombians think of Christmas as a party time.
My Colombian told me that, because he liked the American way better, more family time.

Right you are.  Last year, I left Cali very early on Christmas morning.  I saw many people out on the street who obviously had been up all night partying politely, spritely and all of the nitely.
