Could you please recommend some agencies there?

It's clear to me that you either didn't read my post very carefully or you just don't have the intelligence to make distinctions.  I never said I was afraid to go to Cali or for guys to look elsewhere for gals. On the contrary I go to Cali every chance I get and probably have spent more time there than anyone on the board except Traveler and Pacino.  I love Cali. I love the culture, the women and most especially my fiancee!  (-:  It's a great place to find a wife.

But on the other hand, I'm not going to tell guys that Cali is as safe as any other U.S. city.  It's a dangerous place with risks and a person needs to be cognizant of these things.

The only thing you know about danger in a city is what you probably read in some book. So many whiners on this board. And make no mistake your one of them. Listen I'm glad your home sit-in behind your computer. You need to file a theft report because someone stole your nuts. See you in Cali, or on second thought probably not. Smiley

Take it easy there Gunny Highway, if I were you, the less guys going, the better for you. No need to have a coronary over people that don't want to go.

Then why do they read this board? It's like asking the KKK Grand Wizard to attend an NAACP convention. This board is about people going to Colombia (other places also) and their experiences with Latin women. Except most of the time it's filled with bull@#$%. I mean people on this board were exchanging ideas with that kook MCK for months. If folks don't like Colombia, think it's to dangerous. or Colombian women are cut throats, then go some where else. I'm tired reading the crap. and I'm going to defend my point against their misinformation

Craig,

I feel the same way. Since I traveled ion some countries in SA and Europe (and looking for a latin wife) I start reading this board some weeks ago...and since I became a member (two weeks ago) I saw a lot of BS postings, and not only of MCK!!

Like you say If you can stand the heath....get out of the kitchen!!!

Some people nag all the time Colombia this....Colombia that...well if they are so afraid of going there, shut the F....k up because we all know what's going on there!!
So go then to another country; and I am sure in EVERY SA country there are pro's and con's to deal with regarding the wife-finding-business.

HC.

"If folks don't like Colombia, think it's to dangerous. or Colombian women are cut throats, then  go some where else."

Listen Craig, I don't have a problem with you trying to disprove what you believe to be misinformation however the above statement is not representative of me.  I said Cali was dangerous, more dangerous than San Jose where I live, but not too dangerous.  I encourage people to travel there all the time and I myself just returned from Cali recently. Again I don't plan on going somewhere else because I like Cali.  I'm thinking about retiring their some day as a matter of fact.

As far as your cut throat comment,  I think the agencies have some sharks for sure but there are great ladies in the agencies and in Colombia. My fiancee is a Calena so I'm hardly one to go around calling Colombian women cut throats.  Are there bad women in Colombia, of course but there are bad gringos too for that matter.

Anyway, many things in life aren't black and white, some things come in shades. People don't need to come to the rescue of Colombia everytime some negative aspect of the culture is mentioned.

Thanks El D those are some interesting accounts. Sounds like you had at least a couple of close calls but glad to hear you got through them OK. You were lucky. I would never argue that Cali isn't dangerous. A couple years ago when I first corresponded with a friend who lives in a mountain village a couple hours north of Cali he commented that he almost never went there, too dangerous. This came to me as a surprise having always heard the warnings to never leave the city. Well there's no question you have to "estar pilas, estar pendiente". Then of course there are rewards for taking the risk.
