Hi guys,

Does anyone know what the woman situation in Peru is.  I never seem to hear much about Peru and it is even larger than Colombia with Lima being over 8 million people.
Anyone had any experience with   Peruvian Beauties Huh

Several guys on this board, including myself, have married beauties from Peru. Our first anniversary is in March. No complaints, I highly recommend it Smiley

 Its considered a safer country to visit than Colombia, although few guys on here have had any travel or security problems. You will get LOTS of attention there by being a gringo.

Where and how did most of you guys that met ladies from Peru? agency or correspondence? if so which one did you use?

I met my wife on a website called kiss.com. There are more latin women on that site than you could count. Also some here have had success using a site called amigos.com.

  At least a few of the address-selling sites have a good number of Peruvian ladies listed. Check the agency list on this site, I know SOTB/Latin Match used to have some, also Int. Lady.

Thanks RedClay, Congrats in advance on your anniv. I recently met a 3 ladies from Peru. (1 from Latin magic and 2 from the TLC catalog) They seem pretty nice so far.  I'm looking forward to getting to know them better. This whole experience is kind of new to me. Looking forward to it.  

The only thing is that one guy at one of the agencies stated that the dating period or courtships with women from Peru don't last long (less than a year) before marriage.Is this correct?  Do the ladies expect a quickie type marriage?  

I would think this process would take at least a year before you determined that you were ready for marriage.

I have never heard of a trend by Peruvian women to marry quickly. My wife and I were acquainted for a little more than a year before we were married.

hola onephd, i myself have traveled to colombia only twice. my gut feeling, if i'm still looking for a colombiana, is to travel to bogata. i have been very interested in the women from peru also. believe or not i have a tlc ad that is still running since april of 2001 and the majority of respondes i recieve are from lima, peru. many of these women are  dentists, accountants, teachers,and doctors. colombia came in a very distant second as far as respondes go. i also been in contact with 3 women from trinidad. i don' see alot of activity as far as tours and trip reports with peru,but it might be  an  area to explore. their are alot of beauties in peru also. i'm 48 never married and am looking for someone older, 35 plus. that' why i'm broadening my search. don't overlook peru.                                       ToNo

Bogota is cool, women are more educated it appears.  Also the ladies that register with agencies there are usually older than the ladies in Cali. It is not uncommon to see women in the 30's and 40's listed under Bogota.  You might try International Lady, they have a lot of women from Bogota. Also Latin American Intro is the only agency I know of that is located there.(but then I'm a rookie at this.)  

The jury is still out for me on Bogota I have had only minor contact with 2 ladies there. I like the fact that the ladies in coastal regions appear more receptive to me and diversity. (not saying that women from other areas are not cuz I dont know yet. I have focused my attention so far on the coastal areas since that's some of the advice I recieved from guys on here) But I'll see the other areas have to offer in due time. I'm just trying to take it slow now. My approach is the same with these ladies as it was with AW.  I will also follow through on the ladies from Peru.  I just don't hear much about them on this board.

even though we have an exploding population of the latin culture, mostly mexicons who are willing to work the meat packing plants, would a latina be happy in green bay wisconsin?

If I'm not mistaken, Colombia has the 3rd or 4th largest population in Latin America, after Brazil, Mexico and perhaps Argentina.

I've met/dated a few Peruvian ladies. They seem nice enough, but IMHO don't compare with Colombianas either in beauty or fun. Something about the Carribean sun & blood seems to make Colombian ladies sweeter & more delicious, sort of like hothouse flowers.

That said, a Peruana is currently #1 on my list.

Nonetheless, in general I'd prefer women from any LA country to those of my own, in terms of a committed relationship.
