Fellas,

Anybody tried this? Does it actually work? I mean anybody in Cali reads these kinds of ads?

... in response to Men ad in Cali ?, posted by Kit on Jan 23, 2002

When I was in Cali last time, I went to El Pais for a few guys and put an ad in for them.  It was relatively cheap and cost me about $20 each for running it several Sundays.  I think the rate of response was 20 to 30 emails.

As an aside,  I never received any payment as was promised.  You guys who were going to send me a check, the check was either lost in the mail or was never sent.

It probably will depend on who you register your ad with...

Everyone claims to produce major results. I have done it before but not in Colombia and got and still get results.

The thing I would suggest is to go with a big agency for placing ads. Althouugh I'm sure a lot of adds all get placed in the same journal.  However some have their own primary clients to circulate the ad to. Places like TLC and Latin woman connection.
I think just about every agency has males ads of some sort.

Check the archives  to see if anyone has posted anything on it.
