hey guys. i would appreciate any info on the second interview at the embassy. i went with my wife this week and they gave her the appointment for next week. however, i saw in the papers they gave us that the embassy was asking for her parents marriage certificate and a police certificate of everywhere she has lived for more than six months after turning 16. i thought that was taken care of with the DAS paper. im a mistaken? any word of advice of what to expect of that 2nd interview?

A 2nd question. How many days after the day of the first interview was the second interview scheduled?
Need this information to get correct dates for airline tickets, I hope.

Was your first interview for a Direct Consular Filing?
I would be interested to know what documentation and paperwork was required on the first interview. I will be going through the same process in January, 2002.
Thanks, Fred

John,

When I finally get ready to marry my future Calina, I will be using an immigration attorney.  This guy is cheap, according the 'normal' attorney's that charge anywhere from $1,500-$2,500 for a service that he only charges $995 for.

His name is Gary Bala.  He specializes only in immigration Visa, etc...papers for women whol live in Colombia and other south american countries.  But, according to his email, he's really into Colombian women BIG TIME!!

Later,

Hilton
