Cali-Vet,

Lets's make a truce. I'm sorry for the attack. I won't do it again, and I wont mention about the 35-57 ordeal again. I apologize.

Let's come to common ground that we both have the guts to travel to Latin America, especially Colombia, to meet women. And that Colombian women are some of the most beautiful women in the world.

Can we drink to that?Huh

p.s., Bucaramanga has the reputation of having MANY beautiful women. People have told me the ranking in terms of beautiful women is as follows:

1.) La Sucursal del Cielo, Capital del Mundo, Cali Pachanguero.
2.) Bucaramanga.
3.) Barranquilla, Cartagena, Medellin, and Santa Marta.

If I were to live in Colombia, I would prefer Bucaramanga. It is clean, very trendy and classy, not much crime, and the people are somewhat conservative. However, I would definitely prefer San Andres over any place to live. The people on those islands speak English. And people tell me that the islands are a paradise. San Andres was originally an English colony, that's why the people there speak English, and they also speak Spanish.

In Bucaramanga, the population is predominately mestizo, indian, and white. A few blacks. Diversity is totally welcome, and appreciated. There are some nice shopping districts. One draw back now is that the travel from the city to the airport is potentially dangerous because of the ELN. The people there listen mostly to Ranchera music from Mejico, no Salsa. And there is an appreciation for farming and living in the rural areas, many people like horseback riding. Me fui a la feria de los Caballos en Bucaramanaga. There was a contest in horseback riding.

Hi Bro Aaron, I thought you only took one trip to Cali this year on a Tour? I thought you mentioned in your posts that you never been to South America before? Anyway I'm considering traveling there someday, right now I'm a single Parent, so that's out the window anytime soon. I find your posts interesting and informative. keep it up Brother. Btw, I have been around Filipinas both in the States and the Philippines, I have also been around plenty of Spainish ladies in the States, and I find the Spanish ladies to be very beautiful and kind. My Brother visited Rio, and had nothing but good things to say about those Ladies. Well, I hope to visit South America some time in the near future. Personally from my dealing with both Pinays and Spainish ladies, I find the Spainish ladies more open and honest. While the Pinays expect you to be mind readers lol   greg

Greg,

You may have me mixed up with someone else. I've travelled south a few times. But, never on a tour. I'm not into the tour thing. I roll solo. I'm glad you like my posts. Hang in there, take care of your kid, and make it down south as soon as you feel ready. Keep in touch.

Ok Aaron I think you're sincere so a truce it is. And thanks for your comments on Bucamaranga. I'm sure everyone on the board appreciates your information on a place most of us Colombia travelers know nothing. Well done.
