why im MAD!!!

LOL! First thanks to you all for the translation of the line
"Yo me casare contigo, porque estas enojado." I now understand thanks to you all that she is saying " I will marry you, but why are you mad?"
 I am not crazy and I was never mad at her. THis is another miscommunication based on her limited english and my very limited spanish. She is referring to an earlier email when I was asking her where she was the night before. She was not home at a time that I usally call her. I was asking because I was worried about her but she took it that I was angry with her.
  I will put a little more of the email here to put it in context because I still dont fully understand it. Were getting married in February and weve been engaged for 2 months so I dont know why shes saying "I will marry you" Maybe that will make more sense if I put more of the email in here (by the way for all you wise guys, Yes I am sure were engaged that part is clear in english and spanish lol)When we are together communication is good but its a nightmare over the phone and especially email! To all you cats interested in latinas learn as much spanish as possible.
  Hey Georgina I also live in Seattle and like I said Im getting married in February and she will be here in March. I noticed that you are 27. Im 29 and she is 23 maybe you guys can talk. As you know Seattle doesent have a large spanish speaking population so it would be real cool if she had a headstart as far as another spanish speaking friend especially someone who is in such a similar situation. If you are interested in that let me know and ill give you my email. Here is a portion of the email to put it in better context:

I have been a reader ( and at times a contributor) to this board for quite some time and do notrecall reading about "your story" in past posts.....If you did not post before.......... do you mind telling us what agency you found her in as well as how many visits before you were engaged?

Thomas, this sounds like a tiny mis-communication. I think what she's trying to say is that she thinks you're angry and wants the man who's going to marry her to not be angry just because you don't know where she is at any given point in time. Her perception is different from your reality. Maybe she's concerned that you might be too protective, or insecure or jealous or something like that. She feels attacked (her perception) and is going out of her way to tell you where she was during the weekend. She's concerned that you don't trust her. So, maybe what she's saying is "I'm the lady who's going to marry you so trust me. Don't get upset about not knowing where I am every minute." Again, her perception is not your reality.

Even understanding the Spanish it's still not a clear communication. This is more a communication problem than a language problem.

I've gone through similar experiences at times with my lady. It takes time & patience, and you know what? The differences between us greatly reduces the "unnecessary" verbal clutter at times. It's still a learning process for the both of us. Sometimes a little frustrating, sometimes very funny. But it's something we both cherish & would never give up. Your insight regarding the "train of thought" of Thomas's lady or any latina should be MANDATORY READING for guys heading south....Well said, well done!
