Has anyone here had any luck running a newspaper ad in the papers in Bogota? How was the responses? Which paper? Cost? Thanks for any information

Hi Greg,

I can think of two different ways one might go about advertising oneself. The first for correspondence with them writing you here in the States.  The second would be to take out an ad when you are in Bogota yourself and provide a telephone number for contact.

I lived in Cali for a few months in 2000.  I took out an ad and was somewhat specific as to what I was looking for.  My amiga took all the calls at her house and screened the girls first before I met them.  I ended up meeting about 4 or 5 out of the 30 or so that called.  I think most of the callers were agency gals anyway and I thought most of the women did not meet the profile I provided.  If you are thinking of doing something similar to me be as specific as possible and do not give out your phone number or address for security reasons.  Have a third person, preferably a Bogotana screen your calls.

It isn't expensive to put an advertisement in the paper.  I can't even remember but I don't think my add cost more than $30 and I ran it for three weekends in a row.
