Hey Hoda,

No you didn't miss it because I didn't post it. (-:

I decided to only speak about my girlfriend in general on these boards.  It's not that I have anything to hide.  But seeing a few guys make inappropriate remarks about other guys novias/wives I decided it's best not to give any information.  

But having said that, I met a Calena through a friend of mine in late March.  I spent the last sex or seven weeks in Cali getting to know her.  You know me, always the slow train but hoping to get back to Cali in late summer to spend more time with her.

Randy,

Those values you've mentioned are not mutually exclusive to conservatives. The majority of people left of the this so-called conservative faction share all of what you've mentioned. Hard work, personal responsibility & particurally
religious beliefs. The comment about virginity or the lack there of, bringing shame to the family is somewhat ancient.
I would understand certain comments being placed in the context of being "traditional" as opposed to being "conservative". I've seen "conservatives" drunk, bring shame to their families...etc etc.

As a non-conservative, I believe & practice all those positives you've mentioned. I've raised my daughters the same way. We're traditional, not conservative.
