Author Topic: Mexican Women for Southern California Men  (Read 26359 times)

I am a Southern California man who recently returned from Cali, Colombia.  I found the agency world there to be full of jaded women.  I realized that I had placed myself into a box existing long before I arrived there created by a long history of nasty interactions between Americen men and Colombian women.  It cost a lot of money to go to Colombia and it is an inconvenient trip for a man on the West Coast.  Because of the three hour time change it is hard to get a flight early enough from the West Coast to Miami to catch the last plane leaving Miami to Cali.  So, I had to arrive at Miami the preceding day taking another vacation day.  On the return trip I left in the taxi at Cali at 4 A.M. in the morning and after a rain delay at Miami finally got to my home at 10 p.m.  I was exhausted and do not want to do this again.  

After reflecting on this a while, I started to wonder why I went all the way to Colombia when Mexico is literally in my backyard.  It should be possible for a Southern California man to take short weekend side trips to the interior of Mexico.  I think even Tijuana may have possibilities.  I have met women from Sinaloa that are far prettier than anything I saw in Colombia.  After my trip to Colombia, I realize that the only way to get a good woman is to forge your own untrodden path in the woods rather then following the path that every other dog has pissed on.  So, I would like to do this without the use of agencies or middle men praying on American men.  I'm tired of shelling out dollars and getting nothing in return.  It is necessary to learn Spanish to do this which I am presently doing.  Are there any other Southern California men starting to think along these lines?  Maybe we should get together and have a brainstorming session.

I was in Cali a few years back, stayed at Latin Best for several days.  Although I respect the comments from all the posters who love Cali I'm not one of them.  I felt both the ladies and guys were moving too fast for my temperament. I didn't feel comfortable with what I perceived as a fast pace and competitive environment.  But that's my personal take on it and reflects alot about me. I saw plenty of guys there having the time of their life.  I never returned but I went to BQ and found a much better experience.  Not as many suitors, not the fast pace or competitive atmosphere.  Truthfully the ladies didn't appear as beautiful or sensuous as the Cali denizens but I was happy enough .

The women of both BQ and Cartagena are very different from their Calena sistas...BQ has been 'under Gringoed' and has a ton of babes, and a lot less bombs.  But, the Calenas definately have a distinctive and attractive look.  As do the girls from the coast, just a matter of preference.  You should give it a shot if you don't have a case of Colombianaphobia (Colombianaphobia is an affliction whereby some men are allergic to hot, devoted, beautiful Colombian women).

But hey, I guess I'm a little biased cuz I hit the motherload in BQ.

I met the lady that I hope becomes the "one" in Cartagena.  Nothing jaded about her.

I've met five or six other ladies in Cartagena.  I didn't detect any "jadedness" in any of them, either.

I agree with your assesments Mike.Of course I was found by "The Right One" in Cartagena so what do I know..LOL..

But very few Gringo's(comparitively speaking) go to the coastal cities...why is beyond me. But the lack of a well beaten path and lots of beautiful candidates appealed to me. And it worked out wonderfully.

no need to worry...us 3 are OK, we already raped and pillaged those two towns and are engaged and/or married to the three best ones on the coast...everyone else who follows gets our 'discards'....LOL.

- Err, if you knew this, why did you go? Why did you stay?
Did the women tell you, that they were bitter. Were you nasty to any of them?

- Again, you showing your frustration because you were unsuccessful for whatever reasons. Many men from the west coast & one we know that has traveled from Hawaii to Cali don't whine like you... Guys have traveled from Alaska, Canada without moaning. Do they wish the travel time was less? Of course they do. They also realize that "time" is part of the investment in this adventure.

everybody has their own tastes and opinions,  maybe the place he went to in Mexico was loaded with babes.  maybe in Colombia they were not.

Most every very pretty girl I have seen on the web sites seems to be from Colombia or Venezuela.Its like they are in a class by themselves.Colombiana's seem to be much easier to meet,perhaps because Venezuela has never had much developed as far as agencies.Yes they are pretty(Venezuela's).Unless you like going it alone you may have trouble meeting them.

haven't been to Colombia yet but Venezuela 5 times.  there is no agency seen in Venezuela but I've met some women there.

Good post Hoda......I need to watch what I say, because I think they use a new version of the first amendment here. I'm not going to flame others, but I just don't understand when someone implies the women in Cali are not beautiful........Keep up the good work.
