Brazilians

[Newbie]

A few months ago I was down in Rio for a vacation and I met a nice chick down there.  We spent some quality time together and have been keeping in touch during the last few months. She is also planing to come vistit/stay with me when her tourist visa goes through.  Right now she is taking classes at some university and she lives w/ her parents.
 The main thing that I am wondering about is what is the going opinion of Brazilian women?  Are they scammers just trying to get into the US?   Or are they considered for the most part to be sincere about what they say?  Also if anyone has any good or bad personal experiences with Brazilian ladies I would be interested in hearing them.

You can find hearts of gold in Brazil, Russia, China, Canada, or Texas - likewise you can find scammers in New York, Paris, Manila, or Anchorage. This activity of finding a foreign bride, we've all decided to pursue is more difficult than finding one across the street, and we anticipate, but not always find, more rewards than those willing to get set up with the girl on the next farm. It's about one individual finding one individual. Whether you find her in Rio or Bakersfield, it's still about that. Are there liars scammers and whores in Brazil? Sure! The same could be said about Iceland. The big question is can YOU be man enough, thoughtful enough and patient enough, to sort through the tailings to find that diamond, woo her, and convince her you're the only one in the world for her?

If there are women with hearts of Gold in Texas, why are we all looking south? Maybe because we prefer the "typical" Latina or the "average" Latina over the typical or average AW?

Somehow the randomness of the Universe is often overlooked in this venue. And the degree of difficulty as you say...searching the beach for the perfect grain of sand.

But with resolve...and commitment and focus and some sense...even a needle CAN be found in a haystack....but...it's crucial to know what a needle looks like if one hopes to find it.

Brazilian women seem pretty friendly. The problem is you need to speak portugese. If you speak some Spanish, you can probably get by.

Brazilians are less likely to "want out". Their country is beautiful, the economy is doing relatively well, and there aren't bombs going off everywhere.

If a Brazilian, seems interested in you, she probably is. Face it, if you had a choice. . . . . living in Detroit or Rio, what would you pick;-)
