The "tenative approval" from the TSC took an official 88 days. Of course you have a week before approx, mail and log-in of the case and assigning a case # and a week after approx. till the notice arrives. It is possible they are taking longer, plus you can't count holidays that fall in the middle of the process.
I didn't have problems per se, however I did have a lawyer do my papers and submit them, and had him finally call our congressman and file a formal protest about time with Washington D.C. I don't know if that helped but a couple weeks later I was approved. So, was it because it was the full 90 days or the "heat" I can't say. The TSC is notorious for being slow, that I do know.
I will say that while I was waiting I made another visit to my girl for a week, so alls well that ends well I suppose. Although I will say that on my 3rd visit I was 'viewed' as a good catch by some rather good looking friends of my fiancee who made it a point to let me know and it caused me to have a bout with 'cold feet', thinking about high high up the ladder I might be able to stretch. But fortunately I came to my senses and started thinking with the large brain again. So yea you might say the long wait can be a problem, on the other hand, once you're able to get back to what you really set out for, Enduring True Love in my case, then fighting a few demons and coming out the victor can be a good thing. It erased every last subconcious doubt I had lurking in the shadows.
Patience is something one needs in abundance or needs to learn in this process. The wheels of progress can turn mighty slow at times.
