Phone problems anyone??

Anybody else having phone problems into Colombia, ala "All international circuts are busy" recording? I called Y. Friday night and she said she had to take her cake out of the oven and for me to call back in 10 minutes......and I called for an hour and a half and never got through again......never got through Saturday night.....got through once tonight, after trying 45 minutes but it was a terrible connection so I hung up and tried again...for over an hour and never got through.  Is it bad weather down there or the holiday weekend or just my bad luck?

Last night i talked with a nice girl i just "met" and we talked for 10 mins before my card ran out...i said i`ll call right back and then couldnt get through for an hour...busy signals and circuits busy recordings...then got through to her and the connection was horrible and we could barely hear each other..hung up and tried again but couldnt get back through last night  ..i guess i wasnt the only one

Yes I was having the same problems all week, myself. Took a couple hours a couple times.

Oh, MB...I already had the tickets to Miami by the time you posted the flight info about Bogota, plus she had to go home to get her mother taken care of before she leaves and the million goodbyes to everyone.

 Yeah Hound, and JunFan is leaving C/gena the same day N and I arrive.  The Houndog/LE-JunFan/Beatriz hat trick how great is that?

 BTW: N met up w/ Mr. Curious and fiancee in Cali last night, and he is his usually loco self, and N's best friend (a sweet, gorgeous 27yo Christian) is meeting next week with a gringo she's been writing to...........31yo.......next week in Cali.....Anyone we know??

 That's right fellaz, the good ones won't wait forever.........
