I'm glad I live in the Rio Grande Valley, the US's third world country, because I got what I expected. The " no problem" "we want to help you" "you must understand" RUN AROUND!!!!! Nothing, except she must come in at her appointment, no cancellation, no send the papers, nada, eventhough she has already had her interview, she has to pass the papers in person to her embassy official. God is teaching us patience. It will be over one year since the paperwork began. Of course we can blame it on the Homeland Securety stuff I guess. Thanks for your help and prayers, capt david
BTW, in my own defense, when I sent the Support stuff to Era, I did it in April, before the change.

On Saturday it was suppose to hit us on Tuesday morning. After having a great day fishing I pulled my boat out of the water.
Sunday, predicted to hit Tuesday, beautiful day with little wind. Monday ditto. Monday afternoon predicted 50 miles north.
It eventualy hit 200 miles north. All we had was high tide and windy yesterday. I should have known when I pulled my boat. capt david

Well Capt, at least you tried. Did you get a hold of someone in the Immigrant Visa Unit?

I think it was Bear who called them and they let him FAX some documents which saved his wife a trip from Davao to Manila. I thought it might be worth a try...

How was the hurricane down there?

Everyone who tried after me was rebuffed.  I think I only succeeded because I threathened to have Sen. Grahm call them.
