...every one, thats what makes it so sad. Like a child covering his ears he's not BSing anyone. Or maybe he actually doesn't read them, maybe his wifey won't let him. Either way it's a sad example of masculinity to fall back on because one is unable to deal with one's own feelings.

Or did you mean the Massachusetts Institute of Technology? Hell, they never listen to me Wink

Look for :

that most young Russian men prefer older men

I don't think we want to go there... We can get that on TV during prime time.

You will notice if you read my post again, I looked at only the first 10 ladies to appear when I opened your site.

Funny how the two percent just happened to be on that first page. Hope you had some help putting that bit of marketing to rights.

What women say they want and who they actually choose to be with are
two different animals.  I bet they post a wide range of ages just to see
what's out there, so I disagree that it's just a marketing trick, and it's not
hypocritical of Jack for these profiles being on his site...he's just the
messenger.  Blame the ladies.

What sucks is I don't fit into many ladies' ranges, being too young.  Oh
well, their loss.  ;-)

.. they want a warm, communicative, honest, stable man, then go out and hook up with bad boy a-holes, just the opposite of what they say.

Hey Safari, how's the search going so far? I don't know about Firstdream but I've met ladies from other agencies that didn't know what was in their profiles. Age range and level of English ability are two things they usually fudge. One thing that I know happens is if a lady doesn't get decent responses in her age range they advise widening the range. So pretty soon they might say that they accept anything. Don't worry about being too young, in a few years that'll change.

When I was searching,(came to think about it, it's more than 4 years now), I always chose ladies who could speak rather good English. (I had one experience with one who didn't speak English at all. We had to rely on an interpreter. It was bad and expensice experience).(Very little chance to find someone who spoke a Scandinavian language :-))

I also always chose ladies who could be reached by phone, and I also always called them and asked them if you could introduce myself to them by letter. That gave me an assurance they were real, and I also got a first impression of them.

To my surprice, many of them didn't speak English at all even if it was written in their ads that they spoke intermidiate English. In some situations they spoke a little German, but that wasn't in their ad. Therefore I got the impression that many agencies "improve" their ads a little by widening their age preferences and improving their knowledge of English, so they will become more attractive and more profitable for the agencies.

statement about age differences and then have your website displaying something else.  I mean, come on.

If your going to be politically correct ya really should do the ethical thing and change those numbers on your website,
to come inline with your announcement to everybody.
